Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from another “penthouse” listing – you know how those can be overhyped – but this place in Kazimierz actually delivered. The moment you step inside, there’s this immediate sense of space that’s hard to find in Krakow’s old quarter. The terrace is what sold me though, and I mean really sold me. It’s not just some tiny balcony with a plastic chair, but an actual outdoor space where you can spread out with morning coffee and watch the neighborhood come alive below.

What I love about staying here is how it puts you right in the thick of Kazimierz without the tourist trap feeling. You’re walking distance from all those incredible synagogues and the main square, but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with hen parties stumbling past your window at 2 AM (trust me, location matters in this neighborhood). The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home – not that sterile hotel vibe where everything’s bolted down. The kitchen’s properly equipped too, which is clutch if you want to grab some fresh bread from the morning market and make your own breakfast instead of paying hotel prices.

I actually ended up spending way more time on that terrace than I planned. There’s something about having your own outdoor space in a city like Krakow that just hits different – especially during those long summer evenings when the light stays golden until almost 9 PM. The whole setup feels more like borrowing a local friend’s place than staying in typical tourist accommodation. Sure, it’s not brand new and shiny (this is a historic district, after all), but that’s part of what makes it feel authentic. The building has character, you can hear some street noise if you’re sensitive to that sort of thing, but nothing that kept me up at night. Check-in was smooth – they actually met me at the apartment instead of making me trek to some remote office first. Small thing, but when you’re dragging luggage over cobblestones, you appreciate those details.

  The location of the apartment is amazing, it's near restaurants, stores, cafés and bars, but most importantly, it is near old town centre. The apartment is comfortable, it has two terraces and two showers/toilets – so it is perfect for small groups or families.
