There’s this little bakery just down the street where the smell of fresh bread hits you every morning around 7 AM (fair warning if you’re trying to sleep in), and the whole street has this lived-in feel that’s way more authentic than staying right in the Old Town circus. The balcony – and this is key – faces away from the main road, so you can actually sit out there with your morning coffee without feeling like you’re breathing exhaust fumes.

Inside, everything’s genuinely modern without being sterile, if that makes sense.
