You know what caught me off guard about this place? The moment you step inside, you completely forget you’re on Krzywa Street with all its usual Old Town chaos. I mean, sure, the building looks pretty standard from the outside – just another Krakow tenement squeezed between centuries-old neighbors – but honestly, the Kleparz Skyline Apartment feels like someone took a slice of modern Warsaw and tucked it into medieval quarters.

The loft setup actually works here, which surprised me because I’ve stayed in plenty of “designer” apartments that felt more like Instagram sets than places you’d want to hang out. But this one gets the balance right – those exposed beams and industrial touches don’t scream “look at me” so much as they just create this surprisingly cozy vibe. The skyline views (hence the name, I guess) are legit too, especially if you catch sunset from the right angle. You’ll see the Cloth Hall spires without dealing with the Rynek Główny crowds below, which is honestly the best of both worlds. The kitchen’s properly equipped too – I actually cooked a few meals instead of eating pierogi every night, though let’s be real, you’re still going to hit Szara Gęś around the corner at least once.

Location-wise, you’re basically in the sweet spot between proper Old Town tourist madness and the more local Kleparz district. It’s maybe a four-minute walk to the main square when you want that full Krakow experience, but you can also duck into the Kleparz Market for groceries without fighting through selfie sticks and tour groups. The tram connections are solid if you’re planning day trips – the Barbican stop is right there, so getting to Kazimierz or even out to Nowa Huta is pretty straightforward. Parking’s the usual Old Town nightmare, but they’ll sort you out with options during booking. One small thing – the building entrance is a bit tricky to spot if you’re arriving after dark (those street numbers aren’t exactly illuminated), but once you figure it out, you’re golden. The 9.7 rating makes total sense when you’re actually staying here – it’s one of those places that just handles all the details properly without making a big deal about it.

  The apartment location was absolutely perfect for us. Just a block from the edge of old town but quiet and peaceful if you needed to rest. The apartment had all of the necessary kitchen and bathroom items and the included parking spot was a must in this neighborhood. The washer and extra bath were also a bonus.
  
  What could be improved: Bedrooms were small with no closet space in the rooms so unpacking a family of 4 into one hallway closet and finding a spot to store the empty suitcases was not ideal.
