The beds are properly comfortable (not too soft, not like sleeping on concrete), and they’ve got these heavy curtains that actually block out light if you’re trying to sleep in. Small detail, but it matters when you’re jet-lagged or just want to recover from a long day of wandering around.

What really gets me about this place is the staff – they have that rare quality of being genuinely helpful without hovering or making you feel like you’re bothering them with questions. Check-in was smooth, none of that endless paperwork dance, and when I asked about local restaurant recommendations, I got actual thoughtful suggestions instead of the usual tourist trap list. The breakfast setup is solid too, nothing elaborate but proper coffee and fresh bread, which is really all you need to start the day right. I noticed they keep the common areas clean without that overly sterile hotel feel – there’s still some personality in the space. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle depending on the time of year (street parking mostly), but honestly, that’s pretty standard for this kind of neighborhood location. The 8.3 rating makes perfect sense to me – it’s not trying to be something it’s not, just doing the fundamentals really well at a price that won’t make you wince when you check your bank account later.
