Hotel Description
Honestly, when I first walked up to Kopernik-us 2 on Mikołaja Kopernika Street, I wasn’t sure what to expect from an apartment rental tucked into the first floor of this historic Old Town building. But you know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that surprise you. The location alone – I mean, you’re literally steps from the Main Square, but on one of those quieter cobblestone streets where you can actually hear yourself think. You’ll still catch the distant hum of tourists and horse-drawn carriages, but it’s not that overwhelming buzz you get right on Floriańska or Grodzka.
The two rooms are set up really thoughtfully, actually. It’s clear someone who understands travelers designed this space – there’s proper storage (thank god, because Old Town shopping happens whether you plan it or not), and the windows let in that gorgeous morning light that makes Krakow’s autumn colors pop. The building itself has that authentic Polish character, with thick walls that keep things surprisingly quiet despite being in the heart of everything. I was worried about noise, honestly, but even with the weekend crowds below, I slept better than I expected. The apartment feels lived-in in the best way – not sterile like some rental properties, but genuinely comfortable. You can tell they’ve thought about the little things, like having enough outlets near the bed and decent water pressure (which, let’s be real, isn’t a given in these historic buildings).
What really sold me on this place was how it connects you to the real rhythm of Old Town life. In the morning, you can grab coffee from that little place on the corner – the locals go there, not just tourists – and by evening, you’re close enough to everything that matters but far enough from Cloth Hall that you’re not dealing with the afternoon tour group chaos. The 8.8 rating makes total sense once you’re there; it’s not trying to be some luxury hotel experience, but it nails what it is: a genuinely comfortable base in one of Europe’s most walkable city centers. Plus, and this matters if you’re planning to explore beyond the obvious spots, you’re positioned perfectly for wandering into Kazimierz or even walking to Wawel without feeling like you need to plan a whole expedition. It’s the kind of place where you end up staying an extra night because leaving feels harder than it should.

Very clean and comfortable apartment, you have everything you need and more. Great location!
What could be improved: There are problems with soundproofing, we're hearing our neighbors all night.Znośny pobyt – Patryk from United Kingdom – July 13, 2025 (6/10)
Bliskość do centrum
What could be improved: Osoba odpowiedzialna za odbieranie telefonów wprowadziła nas na początku w atak serca.
Exceptional – Nagórska from Poland – June 25, 2025 (10/10)
Exceptional – Anonymous from Ukraine – July 11, 2025 (10/10)
