Hotel Description
Honestly, when I first walked into this Kraków apartment, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place – but wow, that 9.5 rating actually makes perfect sense once you’re inside. The “Castle View” part of the name isn’t just marketing fluff either; you can actually see Wawel Castle from the windows, which is pretty incredible when you’re having your morning coffee. I mean, most places in Kraków charge a premium just for being within walking distance of the castle, but this spot gives you the view without the touristy price tag.
The apartment itself is genuinely spacious – and I say that as someone who’s stayed in way too many European “spacious” places that turned out to be glorified closets. You know what really impressed me? The little details that show someone actually thought about what travelers need. There’s proper counter space in the kitchen (rare!), the shower has decent water pressure, and the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every ten minutes like it does in half the places I’ve stayed. The furnishing is nothing fancy, but it’s comfortable and clean, which honestly matters more than whether everything matches perfectly. Actually, the mix of modern and traditional Polish touches gives it character – there’s this beautiful old wooden cabinet that I kept admiring.
Location-wise, you’re in this sweet spot where you can walk to the Old Town without being right in the middle of all the tourist chaos. I could hear the trams in the distance, but it wasn’t disruptive – more like a gentle city lullaby, if that makes sense. The Rentujemy team was surprisingly responsive too; when I had a question about the heating (it was October and surprisingly chilly), they got back to me within an hour with clear instructions. Parking can be tricky in this area – I mean, it’s Kraków, so that’s expected – but there are spots if you’re patient, and honestly, you’ll probably end up walking everywhere anyway because the city center is so close. What really sealed the deal for me was sitting by that window in the evening, watching the castle light up while planning the next day’s adventures. It felt like having my own little piece of Kraków rather than just passing through as another tourist.
