You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from an apartment rental on Słowackiego, but Kraków Krib completely caught me off guard. The location is actually brilliant – you’re in Krowodrza, which honestly feels more like where real Kraków residents live rather than another tourist bubble. I mean, you’ve got the Vistula just a short walk away, and getting into the Old Town takes maybe 15 minutes by tram (the stop is practically outside your door). What really got me was how quiet it stays despite being on a main avenue – something about the way the building sits back from the street, I think.

The apartment itself feels like someone actually put thought into what travelers need, not just what looks good in photos. The kitchen has proper coffee equipment (thank god), and there’s this great little balcony where you can sit with your morning espresso and watch the city wake up. The bed is legitimately comfortable – I’m talking hotel-quality comfortable, which you don’t always get with apartment rentals. Storage space is generous too, which matters when you’re staying more than a couple nights. Honestly, the whole place has this lived-in warmth that most accommodations completely miss. The WiFi actually works well enough for video calls, and the water pressure? Surprisingly excellent for an older building.

Here’s what really sold me on this place though – the host clearly knows Kraków inside and out. They left recommendations that weren’t just the obvious tourist spots, like this incredible pierogi place about ten minutes walk away that I never would’ve found otherwise. Plus, they’re genuinely responsive if something comes up. The building itself has character (it’s got that classic Polish apartment block charm without feeling dated), and honestly, staying here gave me a much better sense of how locals actually live. You’re close enough to everything that matters – Planty Park, the main market square, even the Jewish Quarter – but far enough out that you’re not dealing with drunk tourists stumbling past your window at 2 AM. The grocery stores nearby are proper ones where regular people shop, not those overpriced tourist traps. If you’re the type who wants to experience Kraków rather than just check it off a list, this is exactly the kind of place that makes that happen.

  If you go to Kraków thats the place where you want to stay.Clean,comfy and has everything you need.Walking distance from old town or you can take tram.Little shop and cafe downstairs next to the building.Ken is very helpfull,make your stay perfect.

  If your looking for the perfect place to stay in Krakow, then look no further. Firstly the host Ken, goes out of his way to make you stay comfortable, and nothing is touch much for him. The accomodation is excellent, with everything you need during your stay, beds are big and very comfortable, the area is quiet and good links into town, and if you need any trips sorting then Ken has details of a event organiser who will sort all your trips out, and will not let you down. Would we go back to this accomodation again YES

  I recently stayed at an apartment with three comfortable rooms. The host was very accommodating and arranged for an early check-in for us after a long night of train travel, which was greatly appreciated and came with a reasonable charge. The host was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The apartment was very clean and equipped with all necessary facilities.
  
  However, there was only one toilet shared by all, which was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, the location is a bit far from the main attractions. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience was very good.
