Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name “Kraków Rynek Podgórski Apartment by Noclegi Renters,” I thought it was going to be some generic rental situation. But you know what? This place actually surprised me in the best way possible. Podgórze isn’t where most tourists end up staying (they’re all cramming into the Old Town), which means you get this authentic slice of Kraków life without the constant stream of tour groups wandering past your window at 7 AM.

The apartment sits right on Rynek Podgórski – that’s the main square in Podgórze, for those who don’t know – and honestly, it’s one of those spots that feels like you’ve discovered something locals have been keeping to themselves. I mean, you’re literally a five-minute walk from the Schindler Factory Museum, and the whole area has this interesting mix of pre-war buildings and modern cafes that somehow works. The tram connections are actually really solid too (grab the 3 or 24 and you’ll be in the city center in about fifteen minutes), though I’d recommend walking across the Bernatka Bridge at least once – the views of Wawel Castle from there are something else entirely. The apartment itself feels lived-in rather than sterile, which I appreciate. You can tell someone actually put thought into making it comfortable rather than just Instagram-ready. The kitchen has proper equipment (not those tiny hotel kettles that take forever), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re living out of a suitcase.

What really sold me on this place, though, is the neighborhood vibe. Podgórze has this slightly gritty, artistic edge – you’ll find street art tucked into unexpected corners and little bars that don’t advertise themselves to tourists. There’s a fantastic pierogi place called Gospoda Koko just around the corner (locals line up there on weekends, which tells you everything), and if you’re into coffee, Karma Coffee on Kalwaryjska is worth the short walk. The 8.1 rating feels about right – it’s not luxury, but it’s solid and real in a way that a lot of cookie-cutter hotels aren’t. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I wanted to experience Kraków beyond the main tourist circuit. Just don’t expect concierge service or daily housekeeping – this is more about having your own little corner of an actual neighborhood rather than being pampered.

  Really like the location, cleanliness of the property, was a nice TV with smart TV etc. Also really liked that the accommodation had some basic things present like 2 tablets for the dishwasher. Also plenty of linnen is available like small and big towels.

  You can find all the household equipment you need for a convenient stay during a week or more. I chose this apartment as it has a washing machine and I appreciated that it works silently. I liked the self checkin and checkout, as I arrived late and left early. There are really lovely neighborhoods and plenty of grocery shops.

  Great location, a lot of bar and restaurants nearby, easy self checking/ checkout, quiet place, comfortable bed, a lot of pillows and blankets I suppose it can suit more then 2 person, there is a sofa also that can be used

  Bardzo doceniam, że w apartamencie meble były całkiem solidne,a nie takie najtańsze z Ikei. W kuchni nic nie brakowało, tak samo w łazience. Odkurzacz, mop – również cenię bo przy moim dłuższym pobycie jednak bardzo się to przydało:)
