Hotel Description
You know what surprised me about Krakow Square Residence? It’s actually tucked away on Sandomierska Street in Debniki, which means you’re literally a three-minute walk from the Old Town but somehow completely removed from all that tourist chaos. I mean, cross the Bernatek footbridge (the one with all the love locks) and boom – you’re in the heart of everything, but your evenings are blissfully quiet.
The building itself has this understated elegance that I wasn’t expecting from the photos. It’s one of those places where they’ve clearly put thought into the details without being showy about it – think polished concrete floors that actually feel warm underfoot, and these floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the apartments with light. The staff at check-in were refreshingly straightforward, no fake enthusiasm, just genuinely helpful people who actually know the neighborhood. They mentioned the little bakery around the corner on Dietla Street that opens at 6 AM (trust me on this one – their oscypek pastries are worth setting an alarm for), and honestly, that kind of local insight is worth its weight in gold.
What really sold me on this place, though, was how it feels like you’re staying in someone’s carefully curated apartment rather than a hotel room. The kitchenettes are properly equipped – I’m talking real knives that cut things, not those useless hotel butter knives – and there’s enough space to actually spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. The beds are firm in that European way that takes a night to get used to, but then you sleep like the dead. Parking is handled through a nearby garage (they’ll sort you out at reception), which in this part of Krakow is basically a minor miracle. The only thing that occasionally interrupts the peace is the tram on Starowiślna, but even that becomes sort of soothing white noise after a day or two. During summer evenings, you can hear music drifting over from the bars across the river, but it’s more atmospheric than annoying – like having the city’s soundtrack playing softly in the background while you plan tomorrow’s adventures with a glass of wine from that excellent little shop on Józefińska Street.
The concierge service in Krakow can arrange exclusive castle tours, secure classical concert tickets, and organize visits to nearby Wieliczka Salt Mine and Auschwitz Memorial.

A very spacious and nicely decorated apartment close to old town of Krakow.
What could be improved: The main road along the apartment was very loud all day, especially early in the morning.Exceptional – Courtney from United Kingdom – April 25, 2025 (10/10)

Very good choice for our family – right enough spacious, tasteful modern design and comfortable. Given all information needed before arrival, next to bus station, very close to city center and places of interest.

Great place to stay in Krakow 🙂 A short 10-15 min walk to the city center. Very cosy and clean. The underground parking spot was a real bonus.
Definitely recommend it.Great little room, With a nice kitchenette to cater for yourself – Daniel from United Kingdom – March 16, 2024 (10/10)
Lovely room, nice view with good facilities and a short walk from the main center of Krakow.
What could be improved: The only let down for me was noisy neighbours but that's of no fault of the owners at all.Nice, convenient apartment – Keeley from United Kingdom – December 8, 2023 (8/10)
I liked the apartment itself as it was bright, cozy an suitable for what we wanted. The bathroom had 2 sinks which was perfect for time use an there was a bath which is always a bonus. Netflix, Disney+, YouTube were available on the telly which was good to just chill to.
Monika is soo helpful whether it's for information on trips, or changing the language on the telly she replies within good time and makes an effort with messages.
What could be improved: It was a bit noisy with traffic as it was on a main road but we didn't request a quiet room so I can't really complain about that and it was something we got used to.
At first the location seemed out of the way but once we got our bearings it wasn't really too far. I'd say about 15 minute walk but we walk quickish.Perfect apartment for a couple , would recommend – Grigory from Norway – November 30, 2023 (10/10)
Great location, very nice apartment, no problems whatsoever, tv with smart function, very warm in the wintertime
