You know what caught me off guard about Królewska Apartments? The name makes it sound way fancier than it actually is – and I mean that in the best possible way. When I first walked up, I was expecting some stuffy, overpriced place trying too hard to be royal, but honestly, it’s just a solid, comfortable spot that happens to have a really nice lobby with some elegant touches.

The apartments themselves are exactly what you’d want if you’re staying somewhere for more than a couple nights. Mine had this weird but charming mix of modern appliances and slightly old-school furniture – nothing fancy, but everything worked perfectly. The kitchen was actually usable (unlike those joke kitchenettes some places throw in), and I ended up cooking breakfast most mornings because there’s a little market just around the corner where locals shop. The Wi-Fi was reliable, which honestly matters more to me than thread count these days. One thing though – if you’re a super light sleeper, maybe pack earplugs. It’s not loud exactly, but you can hear people in the hallway sometimes, and there’s a bit of street noise if you get a front-facing room.

What really sold me on the place was how the staff handled things. Check-in was smooth, no weird hidden fees or confusing explanations, and when I couldn’t figure out how to work the washing machine (there’s one in each unit, which is amazing), someone came up within ten minutes to show me. The cleaning service came by twice during my week-long stay without me even asking – just showed up, did their thing, and left everything spotless. For a 3-star place, that 8.4 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a few days. It’s not trying to be the Ritz, but it nails all the basics and throws in some genuine hospitality that you don’t always get at bigger hotels. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels more like a temporary home than a hotel room, and you don’t need a concierge or room service, this place gets it right.

  This is a great location and a value for money option but it is very basic with the minimum of furniture and harsh hospital style lighting although the bathroom was modern. The hosts were super helpful and checkin via a door code also meant we could be flexible with our arrival time. As a place to lay your head it's excellent and just a 15 min walk to the old town. But if you needed to spend more time in the apartment its not that comfortable a stay.

  We checked in earlier than the stated time and that was very convenient. The location of the apartment is really convenient and close to the center. There is a bus stop and shops nearby. The price is very good.

  Good location: about 15-20 minutes walk from the old town. Nearby there are cafes, restaurants, store. Everything was very clean and tidy. The apartment is equipped with everything you need.
