You know what struck me first about Krovo Apartments? The building itself – it’s this beautifully restored townhouse on Krowoderska that manages to feel both historic and completely livable. I mean, you’re literally a five-minute walk from the Main Square, but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the constant buzz of tour groups outside your window. The street has that perfect Old Town vibe where locals actually live and work, not just the tourist bubble.

The apartments themselves are honestly better than I expected from the photos. Each one’s got this thoughtful layout that makes you feel like you’re staying in someone’s actual home rather than a sterile hotel room. The kitchens are properly equipped – and I’m talking real cooking equipment, not those sad little coffee makers you usually get. There’s something really satisfying about being able to grab fresh bread from the bakery around the corner and actually make yourself breakfast. The owner clearly gets that travelers want space to spread out, especially if you’re staying more than a night or two. My unit had these great big windows that let in tons of light, and the beds are actually comfortable (you’d be surprised how rare that is). The WiFi works everywhere, which matters if you’re trying to work remotely or just upload photos without wanting to throw your phone.

What really sets this place apart is the location knowledge you get. The staff – well, they’re more like helpful neighbors – know exactly which restaurants are worth your time versus the tourist traps. They pointed me toward this incredible pierogi place two blocks away that I never would’ve found otherwise. Parking can be tricky in this part of Krakow (honestly, it’s tricky everywhere in Old Town), but they’ve got arrangements with nearby lots that save you the headache of circling blocks looking for a spot. The 8.7 rating makes total sense when you experience how smoothly everything runs. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, and when I had a minor issue with the shower temperature, someone was there within twenty minutes. It’s that kind of responsive service that makes you actually want to come back rather than just endure your stay.

  Fully equipped apartment, big enough for a family. One room had 3 beds + 1 sofa bed, second was a kitchen with a dinning table and 4 chairs. Kitchen was fully equipped, We had 4 bikes on our car, so appreciated, that the car could be parked inside the garden. To get there was a challenge, the gate is narrow, but we managed even without taking the bikes off. The apartment is close to the city center, all together it was a good choice.
