You know what struck me first about Krowoderska 63A? It’s one of those places that actually feels like Krakow, not some generic hotel that could be anywhere. The building sits on this tree-lined street in the Old Town – and I mean properly in the Old Town, not some marketing department’s loose interpretation of it. You’re basically a five-minute walk from the Main Square, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the tourist chaos right outside your window.

The thing is, this isn’t trying to be fancy, and honestly, that works in its favor. It’s a solid 3-star place that knows exactly what it is – clean, comfortable, and run by people who actually seem to care. The rooms are what you’d expect, nothing revolutionary, but the beds are decent and the bathrooms work properly (which, let me tell you, isn’t always a given in some of these older buildings). What I really appreciated was the breakfast – they’ve got proper Polish bread and local stuff mixed in with the usual continental spread. The coffee’s actually drinkable too, which is more than I can say for a lot of places in this price range.

Here’s what makes this place work, though – the location is genuinely brilliant if you want to feel like you’re staying in a real neighborhood rather than a tourist bubble. Krowoderska street has this nice residential vibe during the day, but you’re still close enough to everything that matters. The Planty gardens are right there for morning walks, and there’s this little bakery about two blocks down that locals actually use – I grabbed pastries there most mornings instead of doing the full hotel breakfast. Parking can be tricky (it’s Old Town, so what do you expect?), but they’ll help you figure it out, and honestly, once you’re there, you won’t need a car anyway. The staff – well, they’re not overly chatty, but they know their stuff and speak enough English to sort out whatever you need. I’d stay here again, especially if I wanted to be in the heart of things without paying Old Town hotel prices for the privilege.

  Polecam serdecznie. Lokalizacja bardzo dobra. 20 minut pieszo na rynek, 10 minut do tramwaju. Czysto, kuchnia dobrze wyposażona. Duży plus za ręczniki i kosmetyki. Bardzo przyjemnie.

  В квартире есть все необходимое для проживания. Кофе,чай,молочко для кофе,конфеты. Есть вся бытовая химия,есть шампунь и гель для душа. Советую.

  Bardzo przyjemne miejsce. Czuliśmy się zaopiekowani od samego wejścia. Pachniało świeża pościelą. W łazience zestaw kosmetyków. W kuchni kawka i herbata. Dostęp do sztuccow, mikrofala i indukcja :)Tv z HBO max i nawet kolekcją filmów dvd 🙂 w wyposażeniu nawet deska do prasowania z żelazkiem. Ogrzewanie podłogowe, więc ciepło w stópki. Na pewno wrócimy przy następnej wizycie w Krakowie
