Krowoderska Apartments Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Krowoderska Apartments on a quiet side street in Krakow’s Old Town, you immediately get that “local secret” feeling. The building sits tucked away from the main tourist chaos, but honestly — you’re still right in the thick of everything that matters. I mean, this three-star property doesn’t try to be flashy or pretentious, which actually works in its favor. The entrance feels more like you’re staying at a well-appointed friend’s place rather than some sterile hotel chain.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s what I love about the location — you can walk to the Main Market Square in about five minutes, but you’re not dealing with the constant noise and crowds right outside your window. Krowoderska street itself has this authentic Krakow vibe where you’ll see locals heading to work in the morning and couples strolling back from dinner at night. The couples who stay here really seem to get it (they rate the location 8.6, which makes total sense). You know what’s great? There’s a small grocery store just around the corner, and some genuinely good restaurants that tourists haven’t completely discovered yet.
The Apartment Experience
The apartments themselves feel surprisingly spacious for a European city center — something you don’t always expect in Krakow’s historic district. Each unit has a proper kitchen setup, which means you can actually make coffee the way you like it or grab some Polish pastries from the local bakery for breakfast. The decor strikes that sweet spot between modern comfort and not trying too hard to be trendy. Everything feels clean and well-maintained, though it’s not going to win any design awards (and that’s perfectly fine).
Sleep Quality
I have to mention the beds because, honestly, this is where Krowoderska Apartments really delivers. After walking around Krakow’s cobblestone streets all day — and trust me, your feet will feel it — you’ll actually look forward to collapsing into these beds. They’ve clearly invested in proper mattresses and bedding, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places get this wrong. The rooms stay quiet at night too, probably because you’re just far enough from the main party areas but close enough to everything else.
Why Guests Love It
What keeps people coming back here isn’t any single wow factor — it’s more about getting the fundamentals right in a city where location means everything. You’re paying for that perfect balance of being central without the tourist trap pricing and noise. The property earned an 8.8 location score for good reason, and after staying here, I get why couples especially appreciate it. There’s something nice about having your own apartment-style space where you can spread out a bit, plan your day over coffee, and feel like you’re living in Krakow rather than just passing through it.

Reviews of Krowoderska Apartments
Nick from United Kingdom (9/10)
Great location a 10-15min walk into the heart of old town. Has a small 'express' supermarket just accross the road which makes getting essentials, food drinks and breakfast very easy. Room is compact, but lovely. Did not use the kitchen equipment, but was nice to have the option. Bathroom is a dream, with heated floor, infinity mirrors on all walls and a huge hydro bath tub. Bed was nice, comfy and clean. Table and chairs for an eating area, and large TV mounted on the wall. Most is in Polish, but as i did not spend much time in the appt, this did not bother me, WiFi was great, fast strong signal and reliable. Overall a great stay, would go back again. Key locker was very modern and easy to use, door key is an RFID/NFC keyfob, which works great.
Roanna from United Kingdom (9/10)
The apartment was lovely and clean and comfortable. We really appreciated the underfloor heating to come back to after exploring krakow in the cold. The jacuzzi worked well. The bed was comfortable. The apartment instructions for the fob (key) were also clear. The only thing I'd change is an extra pillow each and a double quilt instead of two single quilts. Also an ashtray on the balcony is a must. Air-conditioning worked well. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
Savannah from United Kingdom (8/10)
Very cosy and stylish room
Cyra from Malta (8/10)
The room is good for a night stay. The neighborhood is quiet since it is a little bit far away from the hustle and bustle. There's also a mini kitchen in the room but our main problem here is that we can't open the aircon in the room since we went there during summer but overall is fine.
Srdan from Bosnia and Herzegovina (9/10)
Relatively close to the center, beds were comfortable, room was equipped with utensils and iron
Ashley from United Kingdom (8/10)
Location & decor although the wall conditions (brick work) still needs to be finished.
Shauna from Ireland (8/10)
Very central to everything, just a couple of minutes walk to everywhere we wanted to go and 15 minutes to the train station. The room had everything we needed! Bathroom was lovely and bright for getting ready and shower was powerful and hot! Kitchen was perfect for what we needed and for the price the room was great!
James from United Kingdom (8/10)
Quiet street, 10 minutes walk from old town. Quirky interior. Quick response to queries.
Janet from United Kingdom (8/10)
The rustic decor was different and nice
Franco from Spain (9/10)
The location was great, very well ventilated and with a great ac. The design of the apartment is also very nice. Great balcony.
