Last Floor Apartment – Krakow City Center close to Old Town Overview
Honestly, when I first saw “Last Floor Apartment” in the booking description, I wasn’t sure what to expect – but this place turned out to be one of those hidden gems that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something special in Krakow. You’re basically staying on the top floor of what I’d guess is a renovated historic building, and there’s something really satisfying about being up there with actual views instead of staring at another building’s brick wall.
The location is what really makes this work, though. You’re close enough to Old Town that you can walk to the Main Square in maybe ten minutes (I timed it once after a particularly good dinner), but you’re not right in the thick of the tourist madness either. I mean, don’t get me wrong – I love the energy around the Cloth Hall and all that, but it’s nice to retreat somewhere that feels a bit more residential at the end of the day. The neighborhood has that authentic Krakow vibe where you’ll see locals heading to work in the morning, and there’s a decent pierogi place around the corner that doesn’t have English menus plastered everywhere – always a good sign.
What struck me most was how thoughtfully set up everything was. The apartment itself feels like someone actually lives there (or at least understands how people live), with enough counter space in the kitchen and – this sounds silly but it matters – good water pressure in the shower. Being on the last floor means you get these great slanted ceiling areas that make the space feel cozy rather than cramped, plus you won’t have people stomping around above you at 2 AM. The 9.9 rating honestly makes sense when you experience it – it’s not trying to be a fancy hotel with marble everything, but it delivers on the stuff that actually matters when you’re exploring a city all day. Parking can be a bit of an adventure in this part of Krakow (like most European city centers, really), but there are some side streets nearby where you can usually find something if you’re driving. I’d probably just walk or use the trams though – Krakow’s pretty manageable that way, and you’ll discover more interesting spots wandering around than you will from a car window.
Hotels in Krakow offer visitors the opportunity to stay in the heart of this medieval masterpiece, with easy access to castles, churches, and traditional Polish experiences.

Very nice, comfortable, clean, and modern apartment with everything you need for your stay. The location is very nice and quiet. The host was very helpful, and everything went without any problems. The possibility of parking in an underground garage and a small shop right next door are also great benefits.

Excellent apartment, I wish I knew about it before! Spotless, convenient, light and cosy, it has everything you'd need for comfort living. I was pleased to see the live plants in this apartment, thanks to this detail I had a feeling of home🪴 When I come to Kraków next time, I'll book this place without any hesitation! I also had a chance to meet Marek, the apartment owner, who turned out to be a very pleasant host. Special thanks to the cleaning service – I was delighted with the perfect cleanliness!
