The guy at reception (I think his name was Marco?) gave me directions to this little bakery that doesn’t show up on any tourist maps but makes the most incredible pastries. That’s the kind of local knowledge you can’t fake.

Look, I’ll be honest – if you’re expecting luxury touches or designer furnishings, this isn’t your spot. The Wi-Fi can be a bit spotty during peak hours, and the elevator is one of those old European jobs that moves at its own pace. But here’s the thing: staying here felt authentic in a way that a lot of hotels don’t. You’re not insulated from the city; you’re part of it. I’d wake up to the sound of the market vendors setting up, grab coffee from the place downstairs, and be exploring cobblestone streets within minutes. The 8.3 rating makes perfect sense to me – it’s not trying to be a resort, it’s trying to be a great home base, and it absolutely nails that. If you’re the type of traveler who values location and character over thread count and marble bathrooms, Leo Apartments gets it right. Plus, honestly, you’ll probably end up spending most of your time wandering the square and surrounding streets anyway.

  It was a great place, prefect location just off main square so ideal 🙂 comfortable bed,apartment overall was great, my favourite was the jacuzzi bath 😍staff helped with any additional requests and stayed in touch to make sure everything was okay and we didnt need anything 😀 would definitely stay again 🙂
