You know what caught me off guard about Libra Apartments LoftAffair? The name makes it sound way more pretentious than it actually is. I mean, it’s basically a really well-done apartment-style place that happens to nail all the things that matter when you’re traveling. The loft setup gives you actual space to breathe – and I’m talking proper separation between where you sleep and where you dump all your stuff, which honestly makes such a difference after a few days on the road.

The apartments have this lived-in quality that I really appreciate. Nothing’s trying too hard to be Instagram-perfect, but everything works exactly like it should. The kitchenette is actually functional (shocking, I know) with a decent-sized fridge and a stovetop that heats evenly. I ended up cooking breakfast most mornings because, well, the coffee maker is one of those proper ones that doesn’t taste like sadness, and there’s something nice about starting your day at your own pace instead of rushing down to some crowded hotel breakfast buffet. The Wi-Fi is solid throughout – I had zero issues working from the little dining table, and the connection didn’t drop even when I was video calling back home.

What really sells this place though is how quiet it manages to be. The soundproofing between units is surprisingly good, and the windows actually block out street noise properly. I stayed for almost a week and never had one of those annoying “paper-thin walls” situations you get at so many places in this price range. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – no hovering desk clerk trying to upsell you on spa packages or breakfast deals you don’t want. The 9.0 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a few days; it’s not flashy or luxurious, but it just… works really well. The kind of place where you find yourself thinking “yeah, I could definitely stay here again” instead of mentally noting everything that annoyed you. Plus, and this might sound weird, but the shower pressure is actually great – one of those details that can make or break a longer stay but nobody ever mentions in the fancy descriptions.

Hotel in Krakow booking should be done early, especially during summer season when the city hosts internationally acclaimed cultural festivals and medieval celebrations.

  We've stayed 6nights in this beautiful, newly renovated 2 bedroom apartment. There is everything you need for your stay and more! Beds are super comfortable, living room has a comfy sofa bed and huge tv, kitchen fully equipped, dining area, bathroom has huge walk-in shower. It looks exactly like on the pictures.
  Everything was spotlessly clean!
  10min walking to Stare Miasto , grocery stores around. It was the best apartment we've ever stayed in and I would recommend to anyone. You won't be disappointed!
