Hotel Description

You know what caught me off guard about Libro Rooms? The name actually makes sense once you’re inside – there’s this subtle literary theme woven throughout without being cheesy about it. I mean, you’re literally staying on Librowszczyzna street (good luck pronouncing that on your first try), and the whole place has this quiet, thoughtful vibe that reminds you why people fall in love with Krakow’s Old Town in the first place.

The location is honestly pretty perfect if you want to be in the thick of things without dealing with the Main Square crowds stumbling past your window at 2 AM. You’re close enough to walk to Florianska Gate in about five minutes, but tucked away on this quieter street where you can actually hear yourself think. I stayed here during shoulder season and loved how you could slip out for morning coffee before the tour groups descended – there’s a great little café just around the corner that the locals actually use, not one of those tourist traps. The rooms themselves feel more spacious than you’d expect for Old Town, and honestly, the 8.6 rating feels about right. Everything works like it should (the wifi, the shower pressure, the heating), but it’s the small touches that stick with you. The beds are properly comfortable – not too soft, not like sleeping on concrete – and the windows actually open, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places seal you in like a tomb.

What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to know their stuff about getting around the city. When I asked about parking (because driving in Old Town is basically a nightmare), they had actual helpful suggestions instead of just shrugging. The check-in was smooth, no drama, and they gave me one of those local maps with places marked that weren’t just the obvious tourist spots. During my stay, the building stayed pretty quiet even on weekends – thick walls, I guess, which is clutch when you’re trying to recover from exploring Kazimierz until late. The whole area comes alive in the evenings but settles down after midnight, so you get that perfect balance of being where the action is without sacrificing sleep. If you’re planning to visit during summer, just know that Old Town gets absolutely packed, but having this as your base means you can duck back for a breather without hiking across the city. Four stars feels right for this place – it’s polished and comfortable without trying to be something it’s not.

Krakow hotels provide guests with luxurious accommodations in Poland’s cultural capital, known for its perfectly preserved medieval architecture and rich royal history.

Good location with a kitchen so you could cook if you wished. The heating worked well and it was clean and tidy.

What could be improved: I liked everything. The stairs forced me to exercise 😅

  • Very nice😎👍 – Dmytro from Romania – March 13, 2025 (10/10)

Perfect location, the nearest billiard bar is literally 2 mins away, Galeria Krakowska and Old City close to apartment as well. Apartment is good for the price if not the best. On the kitchen you can find a lot of plates, glasses and utensils overall, so you don’t need to buy disposable ones.

What could be improved: No microwave 😭, weak fridge

  • Exceptional – Konstantinos from Greece – January 30, 2025 (10/10)

Nice spacious comfortable warm and cosy apartment fully equipped kitchen with cutlery etc big comfortable bed . Very clean and very Convenient location

  • Exceptional – Faidon from Cyprus – January 21, 2025 (10/10)

Great apartment, warm, clean, and in an excellent location near the center. Accessible to public transportation and mini markets.Communicative and helpful host.I highly recommend it for your stay in Krakow!

What could be improved: The apartment is on the 3rd floor of a bit complex building that does not have an elevator, not exactly a problem, but someone with heavy luggage or any problem that can be affected by that has to consider it.

  • Very Good – Joanne from United Kingdom – January 16, 2025 (8/10)

    Fantastic location
    Great communication from staff
    Super fast Wi-Fi

What could be improved: Tv didn’t have English channels. We were there for 6 nights so would’ve liked the chance to relax
The stairs! There isn’t a lift so something to think about if mobility is an issue
    Very squeaky floorboards

  • Good experience – Merve from Turkey – December 18, 2024 (10/10)

    – the location is great, city center is 15 mins walking distance. also bus/tram stops are 300m away from the apartment.
    – easy to communicate with the landlord.
    – easy check-in
    – the apartment is warm enough
    – comfortable beds

What could be improved: – no elevator, but we had seen the reviews before we have booked the apartment, thus it was not a surprise for us.

  • I think was ok, because it was almost city centre, and there was a kitchen for me it was mandatory. – Joanna from Poland – December 10, 2024 (8/10)

I liked the kitchen, which was tidy and clean. Everything was in working order, the fridge was quite spacious, and there was plenty of cutlery, as well as pots, plates, and other ceramic items. The room was warm, and the water was hot, which was very nice. Everything was well-organized and very hygienic.

What could be improved: The picture on the wall was completely scary and unsuitable for sensitive people. Was that the purpose of the picture? To scare or intimate customers? Of course, I took it off the wall. However, what remained were those terrible psychedelic red eyes in the bathroom—they were everywhere on the walls. Maybe it's appealing to those who enjoy movies like Pan's Labyrinth… but definitely not to me.
