You know what struck me first about Luxe Living Castle View? The name actually delivers – and I mean that quite literally. When you’re standing in one of their upper-floor rooms on aleja Zygmunta Krasińskiego, you’re looking straight out at Wawel Castle, which honestly never gets old. I stayed here twice last year (once in March, once during the crazy-busy August tourist season), and both times I found myself just… staring out the window more than I care to admit.

The thing about this street is that it’s perfectly positioned – you’re close enough to walk to the Old Town in about ten minutes, but far enough that you’re not dealing with the hen party chaos that can make Floriańska Street sound like a nightclub at 2 AM. The building itself has this solid, slightly industrial feel that I actually love – it’s not trying to be some fake medieval castle hotel, which Krakow has way too many of already. The rooms are what I’d call “smartly done” – clean lines, good lighting (thank god, because so many places here have terrible lighting), and beds that are actually comfortable. The bathroom situation is solid too, with decent water pressure, which… look, if you’ve stayed in enough European hotels, you know that’s not always a given.

Here’s what really won me over though – the staff actually knows the neighborhood. When I asked about getting to Kazimierz without taking a taxi, the guy at the front desk didn’t just point vaguely south; he walked me to the street and showed me exactly which tram stop to use and mentioned that the 8 and 13 lines run frequently. Small thing, but it matters. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward too – no upselling, no lengthy presentations about spa packages I’ll never use. Parking can be a bit tricky on this street (it’s mostly street parking and it fills up), but there’s a decent-sized lot about two blocks away that’s not terribly expensive by Krakow standards.

What I really appreciate is that this place doesn’t oversell itself. It’s a solid 4-star that acts like a solid 4-star – good breakfast spread with actual local touches like proper Polish bread and decent coffee, rooms that are cleaned well, and little touches like having umbrellas available at the front desk. During my August stay, when half of Europe seemed to be crammed into Krakow’s Old Town, coming back here felt like stepping into calm. The area gets pretty quiet after 9 PM, which made for great sleep. That 9.3 rating makes sense to me – it’s the kind of place that does everything right without making a big show of it, and honestly, that’s exactly what I want when I’m exploring a city like Krakow.

  One of the best and most equipped apartment we've booked ever! A lot of space, very clean, all the staff that should work – works properly. We loved that there were a lot of small things in the kitchen, that usually landlords don't think about – coffee capsules, some kinds of tea, sugar, oil, tablets for dishwasher machine, gel for washing machine etc.
  The bedrooms separation was also convenient for us – two rooms for 2 persons, and one for 4 (big twin bed and comfortable fold-out sofa). The place is very convenient as well – couple of minutes from Wawel, near the river, Zabka in the next door to buy fresh bread or something missed and big supermarket in 3 minutes walking

  We were so impressed with our stay, plenty of room for 5 adults and 3 children, 2 bathrooms a big plus. Very generous provisions of tea/coffee and well equipped kitchen. Warm and comfortable, excellent location- easy/pleasant walk to the old town, castle (could see from our room) and the Jewish quarter along the river. Fantastic communication and very accomodating. We couldn’t recommend more highly. Thankyou for a lovely stay in Krakow.

  Fantastic apartment location for exploring Krakow, very warm and comfortable, had everything we needed, lovely decoration and very clean. Paulina’s recommendations for eating out were very good and was very quick to respond to queries . She also arranged transfers to / from airport which was very helpful.

  We had a wonderful stay. The place was so clean and furniture looked new. It was so pleasant and in an excellent location walking distance to all the sites in Krakow. There is a bar mleczny on the corner (3 min walk) where we got delicious traditional Polish food for less $$ and the ladies working there were so nice. When my son asked for pierogi with blueberries they made it for him even though it was not on the menu yet that day. There is a large store for groceries too. Wawel castle is so close and it was such a nice walk along the Wisla river. 10 min walk to Main Square (Rynek). Host was so lovely , very responsive and answered all our questions quickly and very helpful throughout our stay. Bedrooms are big and beds are comfortable, looks like they are new. We will def stay here again. Highly recommend!

  Perfect stay from start to finish! The apartment was spacious, clean, and well-appointed- the pictures don’t do it justice, it looked even better in person! Management was quick to respond to all of my questions before the stay, and was helpful with suggestions on nearby restaurants and tours..the location can’t be beat, and the view of the Wawel castle from the balcony was just what I needed with my morning coffee. Will be staying here again upon our return to Krakow!

  What could be improved: The apartment is beautifully designed, spacious, extremely clean and perfectly located right next to the old town. All the amenities you need. Easy to walk most anywhere. I found the beds comfortable, the same as the sofa which was quite large. Bathrooms with easy to use, convenient and good working shower. Fully equipped kitchen with a pressure coffee maker. Hosts were there via message immediately from the booking right the way till the end. They are extremely helpful. Really special Apartment, and perfect for city visit in Krakow, near center and very LUXURY!
  All this means that nothing was missing during the stay. I can't wait to come back. Such good value for money and every element of our stay was perfect. Thank you so much!

  Perfect location overlooking Wawel, the apartment was clean, all the basic amenities were there which is a huge plus. A huge selection of tea and some coffee available (it's always annoying to buy these for a short stay).
  
  One thing to potentially improve, (it doesn't influence my satisfaction and rating!) The door to the hallway is very thin so I could hear people walking up and down the stairs, I guess it works both ways so some noise could transfer from the living room to the hallway and disturb other residents 🙂

  I liked the location and it was close to most things – for taxi or Uber I guess one had to get off at the bus stop or near the Novotel hotel which is nearby.
  
  What could be improved: I didn’t realize that the living room didn’t have windows – just an old building feature – all the bedrooms do. Luckily we didn’t spend that much time at home:)
