You know what struck me first about this place on Lwowska? It’s actually tucked away in Podgórze, which honestly is perfect if you want to experience Krakow without feeling like you’re drowning in tour groups. I mean, the Old Town is gorgeous and all, but this spot gives you that authentic neighborhood vibe while still being totally walkable to everything that matters.

The studio itself is surprisingly spacious for what you’d expect in this price range. The AC works like a dream – and trust me, you’ll appreciate that during those sticky July nights when even the locals are complaining about the heat. What I really loved though was how thoughtfully everything was set up. The kitchen area isn’t just some afterthought with a mini-fridge and hotplate; you can actually cook a proper meal if you want to grab ingredients from the market on Kalwaryjska (which, by the way, is this great little street market about a five-minute walk away that most tourists never find). The bed is comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with the mattress all night, and there’s enough storage space that you’re not living out of your suitcase.

Here’s the thing about Podgórze that the guidebooks don’t really capture – it’s got this perfect mix of residential calm and cultural hotspots. You’re literally a pleasant walk across the Bernatka footbridge to Kazimierz, where all the galleries and cafes are, but when you come home at night it’s actually quiet. No drunk bachelor parties stumbling past your window at 3 AM like you’d get near the main square. The tram connections are solid too, though honestly I found myself walking most places because the riverside paths are just too nice to skip. Oh, and if you’re into that whole Instagram thing, the views of Wawel Castle from the bridge are absolutely killer at sunset.

The owner clearly gets what travelers actually need versus what sounds good in a listing. There’s decent wifi (I was working remotely for part of my stay), the shower has proper water pressure, and little touches like having actual wine glasses instead of plastic cups. The 9.6 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to be some over-the-top luxury experience, but everything just works the way it should. Even the check-in was smooth, none of that awkward waiting around wondering if you’re at the right building. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I wanted to explore more of the neighborhoods south of the river. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re living in Krakow rather than just visiting it.

  Apartment very cosy and clean. New. Warm. With tram 3 ten minutes to the centre. Zablocie train station directly from airport at 7 minutes from apartment. We felt as at home. Very very beautiful. There is inside really all you need. There's a wooden box where you find tea, sugar, salt, instant coffe and caramel lollies .It's a very pleasure coming back "home" in the evening after visiting the beautiful Krakow.

  The design of the apartment is tasteful and practical. The quality of the finishings and accessories is excellent. What I liked the most was the exceptional cleanliness and newness of the apartment. Check-in was easy and the residents in this modern building are friendly and helpful. There is a Zabka right across this quiet street, so it was convenient to get everyday essentials there. Proximity to the tram was great – about 2 minute walk. My one week stay in this apartment was real value for money and it made my stay in Krakow very comfortable.
