Look, I’ll be honest with you – when I first walked up to Lwowska 1, I wasn’t expecting much from the name alone. It sounds like someone just gave up halfway through naming the place, right? But here’s the thing about this little four-star gem: it completely caught me off guard in the best possible way.

The moment you step inside, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually thought about how real people move through a space. You know what I mean? None of that sterile hotel lobby nonsense where you feel like you’re in a doctor’s office. The check-in was refreshingly quick – I mean, the staff seemed like they’d rather get you settled in than make small talk, which honestly I appreciated after a long travel day. What really struck me was how quiet everything felt once you’re past the main entrance. I’m usually that person who brings earplugs everywhere, but I didn’t need them here. The rooms have this solid, well-built feeling that you don’t get in a lot of newer places.

The room itself – well, it’s one of those spaces where you can tell someone actually stayed in it before deciding what goes where. The lighting actually works for reading (revolutionary concept, I know), and there’s enough surface space that you don’t have to live out of your suitcase. I particularly loved that the bathroom had proper water pressure and the shower didn’t flood the entire floor – these might sound like basic things, but you’d be surprised how many places mess this up. The whole vibe is sort of understated elegance without trying too hard, if that makes sense. Nothing screams “look at me,” but everything just works the way it should. What really won me over though was the attention to small details – like having actual hangers instead of those security ones that don’t hang properly, and windows that open wide enough to actually get some fresh air. The neighborhood itself has this lived-in feeling where you’ll see locals going about their day, which I always prefer to those tourist bubble areas. I noticed people walking their dogs in the evenings and little cafes that clearly cater to residents, not just visitors. Parking was surprisingly manageable too, which anyone who’s driven in European city centers will appreciate. That 9-point rating isn’t just numbers on a screen – it reflects what happens when a place focuses on doing the fundamentals really well instead of chasing flashy amenities nobody uses.

  The room was spacious and thoughtfully and tastefully designed. The location was great – a short stroll to the Vistula River and all local attractions! The staff was very friendly and the buffet breakfast had an amazing selection with really tasty options. There is paid parking available, which was great for us as it's usually difficult to secure parking in the city centre, so that's a bonus for those who drive. But also for those who don't – there is a tram / bus stop just outside the hotel. Also there is a convenience store open late nearby and plenty of coffee shops / restaurants in the area. The room was very comfortable, the staff was super friendly – would definitely recommend!

  Perfect stay at Lwowska1. Location was good and easy 5/10 minutes taxi rides to Cracow center.
  Nice food around the area.
  Double room was perfectly clean and just like the pictures. Staff was really helpful. We had a very early tour in the morning and box lunch was provided.

  Unlike most hotels instead of bigger room you get small apartment which feels very cozy. Though unlike most aparthotels you get full hotel-like service (24h desk, daily cleaning etc).
  Location-wise: there's big tram node that gives access to basically entire Kraków, and what's most important for me, 4min walk away train station with fast train to airport.
  With friendly staff it creates very nice concept for longer stay.

  I highly recommend it, we had a nice room with a kitchenette as well. Amenities ok, the only small minus I would give that through the front door could hear voices from the hallway but also the elevator (we had a room near the elevator).
  The breakfast was excellent with a great choice, I won't break it down but there was really a lot, over the 3 days I always had something different to eat. We also used the restaurant for dinner, equally excellent food, I would recommend the pasta with seafood.
  The sauna was fine, not too crowded, staff nice. But despite the ubiquitous signs like no swimsuits allowed, there were still people in swimsuits. We were given bathrobes and towels, here I would recommend if the staff still reminded people that it is forbidden to enter with swimsuits. (For those reading this who think swimsuits are ok, it's really disgusting what a pool of sweat is left behind you on the wooden seats).
  We will definitely stay here again in the future 🙂

  A huge selection of breakfast to choose from. Took also dinner from the hotel and the food was superb. Location very close to all amenities, central krakow, and airport. Staff are very polite. We had a superior apt and it was very spacious and clean. Very comfortable to stay in.
