You know what caught me off guard about Margarita Panorama Old Town View? The name actually undersells it. I mean, yeah, you get those old town views – and honestly, they’re pretty spectacular – but there’s something about this little 3-star place that just works in a way that surprised me.

First thing you notice walking in is how the staff actually seems to give a damn. Not in that overly rehearsed way you get at the big chain hotels, but like they’re genuinely happy you chose their place. The lobby’s got this lived-in comfort to it, nothing fancy but everything feels intentional. And the check-in was refreshingly quick – none of that “let me tell you about seventeen amenities you’ll never use” routine. What really got me though was stepping into the room and seeing that view for the first time. The old town spreads out below you like someone laid out a postcard, and depending on which side you’re on, you catch these glimpses of daily life happening in the narrow streets that tourist photos never quite capture.

The rooms themselves are… well, they’re exactly what a good 3-star should be. Clean, comfortable beds that don’t creak when you move (you’d be surprised how often that’s an issue), and the AC actually works without sounding like a helicopter landing. I appreciated the little details – decent water pressure in the shower, blackout curtains that actually block light, and enough outlets that you’re not playing musical chairs with your devices. The Wi-Fi held up fine for video calls, which honestly puts it ahead of some 4-star places I’ve stayed. One small thing that bugged me was the bathroom door – it’s one of those that doesn’t quite latch properly unless you really push it, but that’s pretty minor in the grand scheme of things.

What I keep coming back to though is the location and that 9.9 rating, which initially seemed too good to be true but starts making sense once you’re there. You’re close enough to walk to the main attractions without dealing with the chaos of being right in the thick of tourist central. Mornings are beautifully quiet – you hear church bells and local life starting up rather than tour buses rumbling past. The area feels safe for evening walks, and there are these little local spots nearby that you stumble across naturally rather than having to hunt them down. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle (isn’t it always in old town areas?), but the front desk knows the workarounds and actually helps rather than just shrugging. I ended up extending my stay an extra night because, honestly, I wasn’t ready to leave that view behind, and the value for what you get is pretty hard to beat.

  We were very satisfied with this accommodation. Perfectly clean, spacious, full kitchen, perfect place next to public transport. Several eating possibilities. Great breakfast bistro right behind the door. Good wifi. Prosecco in the fridge for a welcome drink. Tea and coffee, sugar, salt etc.

  Kľúč sme si vyzdvihli v boxe. Nemuseli sme sa prispôsobovať času. Apartmán neskutočne vybavený. Úplne drobnosti – v čarovnej skrinke – baterky, leukoplasty, nabíjačky, hry, …. Xy čistiacich prostriedkov a všetko, čo k tomu patrí. Mala práčka super. V chladničke prosecco a džús. Na stole drobne pochutiny 🫶. Klímu nahradili veľké ventilátory. Výhľad na námestie a múzeum krásny. Spanie pohodlne. Vybavenie super. V okoli reštaurácie aj bary. Visla, lunapark pešou chôdzou.

  Mieszkanie znajduje się w świetnej lokalizacji krakowskiego Kazimierza. Z mieszkania roztacza się piękny widok na plac Wolnica. Obok kamienicy jest kilkanaście kawiarni, restauracji i pubów. Gospodarze bardzo gościnni. W lodówce znajdowały się napoje dla gości, jak i kawa do ekspresu. Miłym akcentem była też sól kąpielowa z Wieliczki. Gospodarze również bardzo szybko odpowiadali na wiadomości. Bardzo polecam!
