Marvels Place Overview
First Impressions
When I first walked up to Marvels Place, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from a three-star property — but this little gem on Rakowicka Street completely changed my perspective. The building itself has this understated charm that fits perfectly with the Old Town vibe, and you know what really impressed me? They actually have free private parking right on site, which is basically gold in Kraków‘s historic center. I mean, finding a spot to park around here usually involves circling blocks and paying through the nose.
The Heart of Old Town
The location is honestly incredible — you’re literally steps away from everything that matters in Kraków’s Old Town. I could walk to the Main Market Square in about five minutes, and all those little cobblestone streets with their cafes and shops are right at your doorstep. What I really appreciated was how the hotel sits on a quieter side street, so you get all the benefits of being central without the constant noise of tourists tramping past your window at all hours. The couples staying here clearly get it — they’ve rated the location 9.6, and after spending time in the area, I totally understand why.
The Room Experience
My room was surprisingly spacious for a three-star place, with these lovely high ceilings that made everything feel more open. The decor strikes this nice balance between modern comfort and respecting the building’s historic character — nothing too fancy, but everything you need is there and it’s all well-maintained. The bed was actually really comfortable (sometimes you never know with smaller properties), and the bathroom was spotless with good water pressure, which honestly matters more than people think after a long day of sightseeing.
Practical Perks
Here’s what really sets this place apart from other budget-friendly options in the area — the staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay work. They’re not just going through the motions, you know? Plus, having that private parking situation sorted means you can actually explore other parts of Poland by car without worrying about where to leave it when you come back to Kraków. The whole property feels well-run without being stuffy, and there’s this relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to hang around rather than just crash and leave early the next morning.
Why Guests Love It
Look, Marvels Place isn’t trying to be something it’s not — it’s a solid, well-located three-star hotel that delivers exactly what you’d hope for and then some. The 9.6 rating isn’t just a fluke; it’s because they’ve figured out how to give you genuine value in one of Europe’s most beautiful historic centers. You’re paying reasonable rates to stay in the real heart of Kraków, with free parking thrown in, and you’re close enough to everything that you’ll probably end up spending most of your time exploring rather than hanging around the hotel anyway. Sometimes that’s exactly what you want from a place to stay.
To book hotel in Krakow during the famous Krakow Film Festival season, visitors should make reservations well in advance as the city attracts history enthusiasts and cultural travelers from around the world.

The apartments are within walking distance of the central station and the shopping center. The closed area is quiet and peaceful, and there are mini markets nearby

It was a beautiful apartment with security guards at the door of a large complex, several buildings all looking the same.
The owner of the apartment helped us when I called from the train station because I tried to call the taxi service she recommended. Unfortunately they couldnt speak English but the owner took care of it and she was waiting at the front of the apartment complex to show us how to get in and out of the place. She even took my suitcase for me.
When we arrived she was very methodical showing us everything and her English was very good. The apartment had absolutely everything and it was indeed quiet at all times. There was a little shop just steps away so we could get our supplies very quickly. They even had take out meals and all the necessities.
The bed was comfortable and we felt safe there.
There was a short walk through the apartment complex to the road and a couple of minutes to the main road where the tram stopped regularly. We are seniors and we hopped on and off everyday for free.Marina from Belgium (10/10)
A most comfortable, nicely decorated flat with a beautiful terrace in a very safe environment. We could store our bikes on the terrace. Shop around the corner. Washing machine.

This place is absolutely amazing! It is situated in a beautiful, quiet location, not far from the historic center of Krakow. The apartment is beautiful, clean, perfectly equipped with everything you could need for your stay. A nice bonus is a bathtub with a whirlpool. There is a small grocery store across the street, which is perfect if you want to buy breakfast in the morning. I really highly recommend it

Lovely cozy apartment situated in a quiet residential area; very well equipped with all amenities.
The apartment is walkable distance to the city Centre and also has a private parking slot in building to safely park your vehicle.
The absolute plus was Malgorzata, who has been taking care of the check in, providing good advices that we truly appreciated.
