Hotel Description
You know what’s funny about staying right in Krakow’s Old Town? Everyone warns you about the crowds and noise, but honestly, once you duck into Michałowskiego 11, it’s like stepping into this perfectly calm pocket of the city. I mean, you’re literally surrounded by all the medieval chaos – the horse carriages clattering over cobblestones, street musicians, tourists wandering around with their maps – but somehow this little 4-star gem manages to feel completely separate from all that.
The building itself has that solid, old-world feel that actually means something here (unlike those fake historic hotels you see everywhere). When I walked in, the first thing that hit me was how quiet it was – and I’m someone who usually packs earplugs for city stays. The rooms have this understated elegance that doesn’t try too hard, if that makes sense. Thick walls, quality linens, and windows that actually block out the sound when you want to sleep in after a late night exploring Kazimierz. The staff clearly knows their stuff too – they’ll point you toward Szewska Street for the best pierogi without you even asking, or tell you which entrance to St. Mary’s Basilica has the shorter line.
What really sold me on this place was the location intelligence, honestly. You’re close enough to walk to everything that matters – the Main Square is maybe three minutes away, Wawel Castle is an easy stroll – but you’re not stuck right in the thick of the tourist madness. I could slip out early in the morning for coffee at one of those tiny cafés on Grodzka Street before the tour groups arrived, then come back to actually relax in the afternoon when the Old Town gets a bit overwhelming. The neighborhood has this nice mix of locals heading to work and visitors figuring out their next move, which feels way more authentic than some of the other streets where it’s just souvenir shops and overpriced restaurants. Plus – and this might sound small but it’s huge when you’re traveling – they actually understand luggage storage and flexible check-in times, which saved me when my train from Warsaw arrived at some ridiculous early hour. That 9.2 rating isn’t just because everything works (though it does), it’s because the whole experience feels thoughtfully put together by people who get what travelers actually need.

Reviews
Exceptional – Jakub from United Kingdom – August 7, 2025 (10/10)
Big rooms, multiple bathrooms and was very clean. The location was also really good with a tram stop only 2 minutes walk from the apartment and the town centre not even 10 mins walk.
What could be improved: Maybe some washing liquid for the washing machine, and some door locks for the bedrooms especially for the door connecting the two bedrooms together would be great and would help with some privacy if going with a large group.Fantastic places to stay would highly recommend – Emma from United Kingdom – June 26, 2025 (10/10)
They went above and beyond to check us and we didn’t arrive at the property till after 11 o’clock at night when we were met by a wonderful member of the team to handover the keys and go through all the check-in procedures absolutely amazing company
What could be improved: NothingWonderful – Stefan from Romania – June 22, 2025 (9/10)
The host was very kind and helpful!
Great location, close to city center and public transport. Very nice breakfast options around.
What could be improved: Shower drain had a bit of a problem and water accumulated, but it wasn't a big issue.
Keep in mind that there is no elevator in the building.
No TV.Great, calm property – recommended! – Thomas from Germany – June 21, 2025 (10/10)

Amazing appartment and very kind and helpful host – Tina from Denmark – June 10, 2025 (10/10)
Very friendly host
Perfect for us – Sharon from United Kingdom – April 23, 2025 (10/10)
Amazing location, beautiful building and facilities, perfect for our family stay
What could be improved: We loved everything!!! Only point I would make is that if you want a lie in there are no blinds on the windows in the bedroom only curtains which let the morning light in. This didn’t bother me as I am an early riser unlike my children ☺️Fantastic – Johny from United Kingdom – April 11, 2025 (10/10)
The bed pillows were very hard
Perfect place – Wouter from Netherlands – April 6, 2025 (9/10)
We had a great stay in this beautiful apartment. Located at walking distance from the center.
Really beautiful apartment – Casiana from Romania – January 9, 2025 (9/10)
The apartment was really beautiful and modern, with big rooms. The kitchen was well equipped, it had everything we needed. The best part was the location, it was a 15 min walk to the center.
There is paid parking in the street available.
It was also nice that there are dishwashing and washing machines available.
What could be improved: Since the rooms are so big, it was a little cold at night.Clean property with a great location – Grace from United Kingdom – December 2, 2024 (10/10)
Clean property, good facilities, great host with good communication. Location perfect, less than 15 minutes walk from the square
What could be improved: Nothing
