The location is pretty brilliant if you know Krakow at all – Dietla runs right along the edge of the Old Town, so you’re literally a five-minute walk from all the main action without dealing with the tourist chaos right outside your window. I stayed here during the summer when the Old Town gets absolutely packed, and it was perfect because you could duck back for a quiet moment but still hear the distant hum of the market square. The balcony faces the street, which sounds potentially noisy, but Dietla isn’t one of those crazy busy thoroughfares – more like a steady flow of locals going about their day. Actually, I kind of loved the people-watching aspect of it.

The studio itself feels properly modern without being sterile, if that makes sense. Clean lines, decent kitchen setup (the coffee maker actually works well, which isn’t always a given), and they’ve clearly put thought into the lighting – you’re not stuck with those harsh overhead bulbs that make everything look like a dentist’s office. The space is compact but smart about it; there’s this clever little dining area that doubles as a workspace, and the bed is positioned so you can see out to the balcony even when you’re lying down. Storage is better than expected too, which matters when you’re living out of a suitcase for more than a couple days. I will say the shower pressure could be stronger – it’s adequate but nothing to write home about – and the walls are a bit thin, so if your neighbors are having a late night, you’ll probably know about it.

What really sold me on the place was how it sits in the neighborhood. You’ve got that perfect sweet spot where you can walk to Wawel Castle in one direction (maybe ten minutes if you’re not rushing), and the Jewish Quarter is basically the other way. There’s a little grocery store practically next door – one of those family-run places where the owner starts recognizing you after a couple visits. The tram stop is close enough to be convenient but far enough that you’re not dealing with constant noise. And here’s something most people don’t think about – the building entrance is well-lit and feels secure, which is nice when you’re coming back from dinner late.

The 8.8 rating feels about right to me. It’s not luxury, but it’s thoughtfully done and priced fairly for what you get. The host was responsive without being pushy, check-in was straightforward, and honestly, for a 3-star place, it punches above its weight. If you’re the type who wants to feel like you’re living in Krakow rather than just visiting it, this works really well. Just don’t expect a concierge or daily housekeeping – but that’s kind of the point, isn’t it?

  Чудові апартаменти поруч з історичним центром міста. Затишний дворик. Вікна виходять на внутрішній двір. Безконтакте заселення і виселення. Чисто, тепло, стильний інтер'єр, свіжий ремонт. Є все необхідне як для короткого, так і для довшого перебування. Кондиціонер працює. Достатньо посуду для сервіровки столу, трішки менше для приготування їжі, але достатньо. Класна ідея з ліжком під стелею, зручний матрас, але металева драбина щоб залізти трішки невдала (під нахилом рухатись по ній зручніше). Були незначні проблеми з інтернетом, швидко вирішили це питання. Сервіс на рівні. ♥️🤗 Також поруч є продуктові магазини, в пішій доступності всі найбільші пам'ятки міста, торгові центри. Повернулась сюди б знову)))
