Hotel Description
Look, I’ll be honest – Modern Studios Stachowicza isn’t going to blow you away with fancy lobbies or concierge services, but there’s something refreshingly straightforward about this place that actually works in its favor. It’s one of those newer apartment-style setups that Cracow seems to be full of these days, where you get a proper studio space instead of being crammed into a tiny hotel room. The building itself is pretty modern (hence the name, I guess), and while it won’t win any architecture awards, it’s clean and functional in that Eastern European way that prioritizes substance over flash.
What I really appreciate about staying here is that you get a sense of living like a local rather than being stuck in tourist bubble-land. The studios come with actual kitchenettes – not those sad mini-fridges and coffee makers you usually get – so you can grab groceries from one of the nearby shops and save some serious money on meals. And honestly, with Cracow’s food scene being what it is, having the option to prep your own breakfast before heading out to explore is pretty nice. The beds are decent enough (I mean, they’re not luxury, but I’ve definitely slept on worse), and there’s usually good wifi, which matters if you’re trying to stay connected or do any work while traveling.
The location is where things get interesting – Stachowicza street puts you in a spot that’s residential enough to feel authentic but still accessible to the main tourist areas. You’re not right in the thick of the Old Town chaos, which honestly can be a blessing during peak season when those cobblestone streets are packed with tour groups. From here, you can walk to the main sights if you don’t mind a bit of exercise, or hop on public transport pretty easily. I noticed there are some decent local bars and cafes within walking distance too – the kind of places where you might actually hear Polish being spoken instead of just English and German. The 7.2 rating makes sense to me; it’s solidly above average without being exceptional, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need. The three-star rating feels about right too – you’re getting clean, modern accommodations without the bells and whistles that jack up the price. If you’re the type who spends most of your time out exploring anyway and just needs a comfortable, practical base, this place delivers on that promise without any pretense.
Many travelers prefer to book apartments in Krakow through trusted local agencies that provide insider knowledge about the best neighborhoods for experiencing the city’s medieval charm and cultural heritage.

Easy checkin instruction.
The apartment is well equipped, situated in a nice place: there are several cafes around, market in 2 min distance and not noisy area. The tram/bus stop in 5 min.
It was warm in apartment and it has a good internet if you need to work.
Pretty nice and comfortable place for two people.Kateryna from Hungary (8/10)

Well equipped kitchen, air conditioning, food stores nearby, washing machine and dishwasher are useful if staying longer. Not far from tourist attractions and public transport. Easy to get in contact with the Renters company (unfortunately they did not solve any of the problems, just try to make you stay patient and calm, see next)
If not to take in consideration everything that follows, the stay could have been quite pleasant.
What didn't we like (continued):
The stairs that took to the bedroom on higher level were quite steep and had no handrail.
Some of the pictures "stepped down" from the wall. That was kind of creapy when that first happened on our first night in total darkness without electricity.Sławomir from Poland (7/10)
