You know what struck me first about MR HOME APARTMENTS on Mogilska? The building has this understated elegance that feels distinctly Kraków – not trying too hard to impress tourists, but clearly someone put real thought into making this place work for people who actually need to live here for a few days or weeks.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to feel like you’re staying in a real neighborhood rather than some tourist bubble. Mogilska street itself is wide and tree-lined, and you’re right in Grzegórzki – which locals know as this great mix of residential calm and easy access to everything that matters. I mean, you can walk to the main square in about 15 minutes if you’re feeling energetic, or hop on a tram that’ll get you there in half that time. What I really appreciated though was having actual grocery stores and cafés nearby where you hear more Polish than English – there’s something refreshing about grabbing your morning coffee alongside people heading to work rather than clutching guidebooks.

The apartments themselves feel like someone’s well-designed home rather than a sterile hotel room. The kitchens are actually functional (I’m talking full-sized refrigerator, decent counter space, proper cookware), which matters when you’re staying somewhere for more than a couple nights. The whole setup makes you realize how much you miss having your own space when you’re bouncing between standard hotel rooms. Sound levels are surprisingly good too – even with Mogilska being a fairly busy street, the windows do their job, and honestly the neighborhood gets pretty quiet after evening rush hour anyway.

What really sets this place apart though is the attention to details that most places just don’t think about. The WiFi actually works well enough for video calls (I tested it, trust me), there’s enough storage space that you can unpack properly, and the beds are firm enough that you won’t feel like you’re sinking into quicksand. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that awkward hovering around a lobby wondering if your room is ready. The whole experience just feels more… adult, I guess? Like it’s designed for people who travel regularly and know what actually makes a difference in day-to-day comfort rather than what looks impressive in photos.

The 9.9 rating isn’t one of those inflated numbers you see sometimes – after staying here, I get it. It’s not about fancy amenities or over-the-top service, but about getting all the basics absolutely right and then adding thoughtful touches that make your stay genuinely pleasant rather than just tolerable. If you’re the kind of traveler who values having a proper base to explore from rather than just a place to crash between sightseeing marathons, this is exactly what you want in Kraków.

  Polecam w 100%. Ładny, zadbany i dobrze wyposażony apartament. Miły prezent powitalny czeka na gości. Właściciele zadbali nawet o najmłodszych, są gry i kolorowanki😊.Naprawdę warto skorzystać.

  Hezký, pohodlný, moderní, čistý být z balkonem. Dobrá lokalita , kousek od nádraží, blízko centra. Naproti domu bezplatné parkovište . Pomohl více než jednou obchod Žabka, který nachází pár metrů od domu , protože o víkendu všechno zavřeno.

  Понравилось абсолютно всё. Квартира в хорошем тихом районе не далеко от центра. Сделан хороший ремонт, очень чисто , есть все необходимо , всё продумано до мелочей. Очень важно что возле дома есть бесплатная стоянка , если вы с машиной. Отдельно хочу отметить внимательность хозяина , наш вылет был поздно вечером и нам разрешили освободить квартиру ближе к вечеру при этом без доплаты, за что мы ему очень и очень благодарны. Огромное спасибо за тёплый приём и мы с удовольствием остановимся здесь ещё раз если будем в Кракове. Рекомендую. Не пожалеете.

  Наше перебування в цьому помешканні було чудовим! Квартира чиста, з охайною постільною білизною та рушниками. Кухня добре обладнана всім необхідним для приготування їжі, що зробило перебування ще комфортнішим.
  
  Окрема подяка привітним власникам, які пішли назустріч і дозволили нам заселитися раніше запланованого часу. Локація також дуже зручна – недалеко від центру, що дозволяє швидко дістатися до основних визначних місць міста.
  
  Рекомендуємо це помешкання всім, хто цінує комфорт, чистоту та гарний сервіс!

  Polecam ! Apartament czysty bardzo dobrze wyposażony kontakt z właścicielami też bardzo dobry. Wystrój ładny lokalizacja super 👍 wszystko na duży plus. Przy następnym wyjeździe do Krakowa napewno wybierzemy również ten nocleg.
