Hotel Description

Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of boutique hotels, but Muse – LoftAffair really caught me off guard in the best way possible. You know how Długa Street can feel a bit touristy during the day with all the amber shops and horse carriages clopping by? Well, this place manages to feel like a quiet escape even though you’re literally in the thick of Old Town’s main drag. The building itself has this gorgeous restored facade – I mean, you’re talking about genuine 14th-century bones here – but inside, they’ve done something really thoughtful with the space.

The rooms have these soaring ceilings that make you feel like you’re in some artist’s converted warehouse (hence the “loft” thing, I guess), and honestly, the spa element isn’t just marketing fluff. There’s actually this incredible sense of calm the moment you walk through the lobby. The staff seems to know their stuff too – when I mentioned I was hoping to catch the Hejnał trumpet call from St. Mary’s Tower, the front desk guy told me exactly which time would be clearest from their rooftop area. That’s the kind of local knowledge you don’t get at the chain places. What really impressed me was how they handled the noise situation – Old Town can get pretty rowdy, especially when the bachelor parties roll through on weekends, but somehow the rooms stay remarkably quiet. I’m guessing they invested in proper windows, because I slept like a rock even during what sounded like a pretty spirited evening outside.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to explore without feeling like a total tourist. You’re a two-minute walk from the Cloth Hall, sure, but you’re also close to some of the smaller streets where locals actually hang out. Grodzka Street is right there if you want to wander toward Wawel Castle, and you can easily duck into Planty Park when you need a breather from the cobblestones (trust me, your feet will thank you). I stayed here in late September, which turned out to be ideal timing – warm enough to enjoy walking around, but past the summer crowds. The hotel felt busy but not chaotic, and the service never felt rushed. One small thing that stuck with me: they have this subtle lighting in the hallways that changes throughout the day, almost like it’s following natural rhythms. Sounds gimmicky, I know, but it actually made coming back to the hotel feel really welcoming after long days of sightseeing. If you’re the type who appreciates when a place puts thought into the details without shouting about it, you’ll get what they’re doing here.

  • Super unit comfy beds great location – Justyna from Australia – August 7, 2025 (10/10)

I have been traveling with booking.com for years now and I can honestly say this is a second best apartment I have stayed in. Very clean and very comfy. Thought through. No clutter. Everything there sends a clear message and serves the purpose. Finally the place where you get enough of a clean towels and very comfy beds for the whole family including children. Spa is a bonus. Would be perfect if the pool had warmer water and robes could actually fit people size large. Otherwise 10
    /10

What could be improved: Accomodation check in around the world normally starts around 2pm. Krakow and Warsaw 3pm or later. Why? They did not approve my request to get in at 2pm. For longer family stay washing machine is a must.

  • Well worth the trip from Warsaw – Losurdo from Australia – August 6, 2025 (9/10)

Clean and spacious with great onsite facilities

What could be improved: Wasn’t close to many restaurants and fair walk to old town

  • Great place – Peter from Sweden – July 31, 2025 (9/10)

Great location. Clean and modern apartment. The spa is an added bonus. Highly recommended.

What could be improved: A little bit on the small side for a family of four, but still works.

  • Wonderful – Johanna from Ireland – July 31, 2025 (9/10)

Amazing decor, so comfortable and location was perfect!

What could be improved: The noise from the tram was abit noisy but other than that it was great!

  • Very good experience – Salem from Saudi Arabia – July 25, 2025 (8/10)

    Location

What could be improved: There is no cleaning equipment.
It should be provided in the apartment.

  • Very easy check in, location was brillant. Nice and clean apartment. Could not fault anything. The tram passes on the st – Chloe from United Kingdom – July 23, 2025 (9/10)

Great location, close to main town
    Clean apartment
    Towels, bathroom essentials, tea, coffee

What could be improved: Close to tram line, not good for light sleepers

  • Krakow Gem 💎 – Ashley from United Kingdom – July 21, 2025 (10/10)

Great base for exploring the city, clean and comfortable with some nice touches!

What could be improved: Nothing, would recommend to anyone visiting

  • Great time, location fab. – Emma from United Kingdom – July 19, 2025 (8/10)

The location was brilliant, just a few minutes walk from old town and the main square. The apartment was beautiful and perfectly equipped.

What could be improved: The only thing that bothered us was the noise; there are trams running every few minutes right outside. It was so loud I thought the windows/ doors were open. Even with earplugs it was still loud. Might not bother some, but I couldn’t get sleep.
