Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I booked this place on Nadwiślańska – the address looked complicated with all those Polish directions about which staircase to use. But you know what? Once you figure out it’s the second entrance going from Plac Bohaterów Getta (just look for the memorial area, you can’t miss it), everything clicks into place. The third floor walk-up is totally worth it because this apartment has something most Krakow places don’t – actual river views that aren’t blocked by construction or trams.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in Krakow rather than just visiting it. Podgórze used to be the overlooked side of the river, but now it’s where locals actually hang out. You’re literally a five-minute walk to that famous pharmacy under the eagle in Ghetto Square, and the whole Schindler’s Factory area is right there if you’re into the historical stuff. But here’s what I really loved – mornings by the Vistula are incredibly peaceful. I’d grab coffee from the little place around the corner and just watch the river flow by. No crowds, no tour groups at 7 AM, just you and the water.

The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home, not a sterile rental. There’s this lived-in comfort that makes you want to stay an extra day (which I actually did). The windows face the river, so you get this natural light that changes throughout the day – sort of golden in the evening when the sun hits the water just right. I mean, with a 9.6 rating, I expected it to be decent, but the attention to small details surprised me. Proper blackout curtains for sleeping, a kitchen that’s actually equipped for cooking real meals, and – this might sound weird – but the shower pressure was legitimately excellent. You’d be amazed how many European rentals mess that up.

The only minor thing is that Nadwiślańska can get a bit busy during rush hour since locals use it to cut between the city center and this side of town. But honestly, that just adds to the authentic neighborhood feel. Plus, you’re perfectly positioned to explore both sides of Krakow without feeling stuck in the tourist bubble around the main square. The walk across Grunwaldzki Bridge to the old town takes maybe fifteen minutes, and it’s actually one of the prettier walks you’ll do in the city.

  Colorful modern apartment located near Wisla river. Clean and well-equipped. The neighborhood is lovely and if I ever come back to Krakow, I'll most definitely book the same apartment.

  The house and apartment are new and well-renovated. There is an elevator. The location is wonderful. Public transport stops are nearby (2-3 minutes walk), Downstairs there are restaurants, beauty salons, and most importantly – Zhabka right in the house.The apartment has everything you need for living (towels, bed linen, dishes).
  The downside is the lack of a microwave and air conditioning (or fan) in the apartment, but this is mentioned in the description of the apartment.
  Quiet area so you can open the windows.
  
  What could be improved: I didn't see any downsides during my entire stay.

  Fully equipped and comfortable apartment in a new high-level house with secure entrance, a parking garage and an elevator. The location is great: there are shops, cafes, restaurants and bars around the block itself, Cricoteca museum is just across the street, just as the Vistula river promenade, and historic Kazimierz neighborhood is just across the river. The check-in instructions might seem to be long, but they were easy enough to follow.
  
  What could be improved: Our only complaint is that we expected a river view from the apartment, based on the photos on Booking. However, this apartment has only a street view, and the river views are, apparently, from a public terrace, located somewhere else in the house.

  Convenient and comfortable, great "base camp" to enjoy Krakow. We found the beds comfy. Bonus for bookworms: bunch of books, also for children 🙂
  
  What could be improved: Some electric sockets didn't work. Cleanliness was okay, but some cutlery was dirty.

  It is a beautiful apartment in a great location near the river, we liked it very much.
  – The interior is awesome.
  – The building itself is nice and modern too.
  – Communication with the owners was pleasant and they helped to resolve our requests.
  – A big bonus – there are many things for kids in the apartment: toys, books, a potty, kids' bathtub, and kids' travel bed.
  – The owners also offered a parking place in the underground garage in the same building.
  – There are also shops and cafes on the ground floor, which is a plus too.
  
  What could be improved: – It would be nice to add a microwave oven. Other than that, the apartment is well-equipped.
  – We would be even more happy if the check-out time were slightly later, not until 10 am. But it is not critical.
