Here’s the thing about the location – you’re right in the thick of things without being overwhelmed by it. Paulińska Street connects you to everything that matters: the Cloth Hall, St. Mary’s Basilica, all those little pierogi joints that locals actually frequent. But step outside in the morning, and it’s quiet enough that you can hear church bells instead of just traffic. I found myself walking to the Planty gardens for coffee most mornings – it’s maybe a two-minute walk and gives you this nice buffer between the apartment calm and the Old Town energy.   The apartment is nice, cosy and well-located.
  
  What could be improved: We were literally kicked out of the apartment by the cleaning guy in the morning. We were five minutes late with checking out (11:05) when someone started banging on the door. When we opened there was a guy who started urging us to leave by shouting loudly "out, out" and pointing at his watch. Although the apartment owner apoligised on his behalf the whole story left us with a bad aftertaste. Service personnel shouldn't behave like this. Also the matrass on the second floor is very soft and is directly in the floor so one can feel the floor when seated. The staircase from the second floor is dangerous and should be used with utmost care and attention as one can get seriously injured. No mops to soak the water in the shower.
