You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from an apartment hotel tucked away on Starowiślna, but this place actually surprised me. Native Apartments sits right in the thick of Old Town – and I mean *right* in it – but somehow manages to feel like a quiet refuge once you’re inside. The building itself has that classic Krakow character, all weathered stone and heavy wooden doors, but step into your apartment and it’s this perfect blend of modern comfort with just enough Polish charm to remind you where you are.

The apartments themselves are honestly impressive for the price point. I mean, you’re getting a proper kitchen (not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation), decent-sized living areas, and bedrooms that don’t make you feel like you’re sleeping in a closet. The design is clean without being sterile – think Scandinavian minimalism but warmer, with some local artwork and furniture that actually looks comfortable instead of just Instagram-ready. What really got me was the attention to small details: proper blackout curtains (trust me, this matters when summer sunrise hits at 5 AM), USB charging ports by the beds, and a coffee setup that doesn’t require an engineering degree to operate.

Location-wise, you’re basically in the perfect sweet spot. Starowiślna runs parallel to the main tourist drag, so you’re literally a two-minute walk from the Market Square and all that chaos, but when you want to escape the crowds – especially during those insane summer evenings when every tour group in Europe descends on Krakow – you can actually do it. I found myself cutting through the quieter side streets toward Wawel Castle most mornings, grabbing coffee from that little place on Grodzka Street (locals queue there, which is always a good sign). The Jewish Quarter is an easy stroll too, maybe ten minutes if you’re not rushing.

Honestly, the 9.3 rating makes sense once you’ve stayed here. The staff clearly knows what they’re doing – check-in was smooth, they actually answered their phones when I had questions, and someone had stocked the fridge with local basics without making a big deal about it. Parking can be tricky in this part of town (it’s Old Town, what do you expect?), but they’ll sort you out with options nearby. The only minor gripe I’d have is that weekend nights can get a bit lively with people wandering back from the bars, but that’s just part of staying in the heart of things – throw in some earplugs and you’re golden. For what you’re paying versus what you get, especially considering you’re staying in actual apartments rather than cramped hotel rooms, it’s kind of a no-brainer if you want to feel like you’re living in Krakow rather than just visiting it.

  Very good location, clean flat with enough space for 4 people nearly with everything you need for a short stay.

  The apartment is very cozy, big and beautiful. The room is super clean. There is not a speck of dust or crumb anywhere. The bed is very big and comfortable. We were there at the end of November, the room is very warm. There is Netflix and other paid services. The kitchen has everything you need.

  A great location with easy parking (albeit paid at 6 ZL per hour, cca EUR 1,40 per hour).
  Air-con in both rooms, very comfortable bed & a large sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen and large smart TV with excellent WIFI signal. Located on the 4th floor with a new lift, in a beautiful building. Shops nearby (Zabka).
  Helpful and friendly staff. A fantastic location too.
  I highly recommend this apartment for anyone visiting beautiful Krakow, either for business or pleasure.

  It's a newly renovated apartment 15 minutes from the center in a quiet neighborhood.
  
  What could be improved: We stayed on the 4th floor where there were 3 windows on the ceiling without any curtains or shades so walking up the latest 7 a.m. Another thing we found under the bed and the sofa there was increased dust so the cleanliness can be improved. The same in the kitchen too. Last but not least I was surprised badly by the fact that although we booked the apartment for 4 people 2 adults and 2 kids (they would stay on the sofa) there was only one sheet and one duvet. The duvet was nice but the sheet was smaller than the size of the sofa so my kid had to come in contact with the sofa without cover. When we asked the host to provide us with one more sheet he responded that that's the size they have for a double bed and that if I need extra I should pay extra for the sheet. It's the first time I had such a response specifically if the size is bigger than the sheet. So truly for the hosts I got disappointed and ruined my experience. Otherwise, it's an Airbnb apartment operated by booking.
