Honestly, when I first got the address for NestingHigh apartment, I thought I’d made a mistake – Bonerowska 5, fourth floor, behind the courtyard sounds like something you’d need a treasure map to find. But you know what? That’s actually part of its charm. Once you navigate through the Old Town’s maze of cobblestone streets (and yes, your wheeled luggage will hate you for about five minutes), you’ll discover this little gem tucked away where the tourist crowds can’t find it.

The apartment itself surprised me – I mean, three stars doesn’t always mean much these days, but this place punches way above its weight. It’s one of those spots where someone clearly cared about the details. The fact that it’s on the fourth floor means you’re getting actual Old Town views without paying premium prices, and being za podwórzem (behind the courtyard) keeps things surprisingly quiet at night. I was expecting typical Krakow party noise, but honestly slept better here than at some of the fancier places closer to the Main Square. The 8.5 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to be luxury, but everything just… works. The kitchen has what you actually need (not just a kettle and hope), the wifi doesn’t cut out every ten minutes, and the shower has proper water pressure, which anyone who’s stayed in historic European buildings will appreciate.

Here’s what I wish someone had told me before arriving: the entrance really is a bit tricky to spot your first time – look for the courtyard passage, not a obvious hotel sign. But once you figure it out, you’re literally a five-minute walk to Wawel Castle and maybe eight minutes to the Main Square, except you’re paying Old Town prices without the Old Town chaos. The neighborhood has this authentic residential feel where you’ll see actual locals going about their day, not just other tourists taking selfies. There’s a great little bakery around the corner that opens early (perfect for grabbing something before day trips), and if you’re into the whole Krakow café culture thing, you’re right in the sweet spot between trendy Kazimierz and the historic center. I’d definitely stay here again – it’s got that “I know a place” vibe that makes you feel a bit smug when friends ask for Krakow recommendations.

  Pobyt w Krakowie uważam za udany. Dobrze się wracało po całym dniu do zacisznego przytulnego mieszkania. Atutem była doskonała lokalizacja – zaledwie kilka minut spacerem do Kościoła Mariackiego i atrakcji Starego Miasta. Zameldowanie i wymeldowanie przebiegło sprawnie. Apartament czysty i nowy. Zabytkowa kamienica, klimat starego miasta.

  Process clair et rapide pour accéder à l'appartement. Appartement bien situé.
  
  What could be improved: Pas clairement précisé que l'appartement était au 4èeme étage sans ascenseur. Literie de qualité moyenne et pas de rideaux occultants sur les velux dans les chambres, d'où une luminosité très forte tôt le matin.

  What could be improved: Łóżko dwóosobowe wyposażone było w dwie poduszki ale niestety bardzo wąska kołdrę (dla jednej osoby). Druga kołdra była w szafie ale bez poszewki. Drzwiczki zamrażalnika zawieszone na wkrętach.

  Lokalizacja mieszkania jest na prawdę pomocna, praktycznie wszędzie można dojść spacerkiem. Wawel, centrum miasta czy stary rynek był w zasięgu paru metrów.

  Bardzo przyjemne, jasne mieszkanie usytuowane na poddaszu budynku. Dobra lokalizacja, blisko do Starego Miasta. Klimatyzacja w każdym pokoju, telewizor w jednym z nich. Suszarka do włosów w łazience, pralka, prysznic. Kuchnia dość niewielka, ale o tak mieszkanie oceniamy pozytywnie.
