Hotel Description

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from the Nobilton when I first walked up to it on Pilsudskiego – I mean, it’s a 3-star place tucked between some pretty touristy spots in Old Town. But you know what? Sometimes these unassuming places end up being exactly what you need. The building itself has that classic Krakow charm without trying too hard, and the entrance actually feels welcoming rather than stuffy.

What really won me over was how the staff seemed to genuinely know their stuff about the neighborhood. The guy at reception didn’t just hand me a generic map – he marked up specific routes to avoid the worst crowds around the Main Square (trust me, you’ll want those alternative paths in summer) and pointed out this little pierogi spot on Grodzka that I never would’ve found otherwise. The rooms are… well, they’re what you’d expect for a mid-range place, but everything works properly and they’re surprisingly quiet considering how close you are to everything. I was worried about street noise since Pilsudskiego can get busy, but honestly slept fine most nights.

Here’s the thing about staying right in Old Town – and this is something the Nobilton gets right – you’re literally walking distance from everything that matters, but you’re not paying those insane rates the fancier hotels charge closer to the square. I could grab coffee and a zapiekanka from the vendors near St. Mary’s Basilica in about eight minutes, hit up the Cloth Hall without dealing with trams or taxis, and still duck back to the hotel when my feet inevitably started protesting all that cobblestone walking. The breakfast isn’t going to win any awards, but it’s solid – decent coffee (actually important), fresh bread, and enough variety to fuel a day of sightseeing. Plus, and this might sound silly, but they have really good water pressure in the showers, which after trudging around medieval streets all day becomes surprisingly important. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if you’re the type who wants to be in the thick of things without breaking the bank or dealing with overly fussy service.

Reviews

  • Wonderful – Rosen from Bulgaria – August 6, 2025 (9/10)

Good location on walking distance to city center. Bus stop to the airport is very close. Quiet room, very comfortable bed and air-condition. Nice food in the restaurant and very good breakfast.

What could be improved: Our room was on the upper floor and has only dormer windows. The shower was uncomfortable to use due to the low ceiling height in this part of the bathroom.

  • It was good experience, definitely will recommend for whose who wants to live near the historic city center, loves beaut – Iryna from Ukraine – June 27, 2025 (9/10)

Interior and exterior, very noce location and quick check in

What could be improved: We had a room that was near train road and with open windows there are lots of noise

  • Perfect location….lovely saff..accommodation clean and very comfortable – Stephen from United Kingdom – June 25, 2025 (9/10)

Didn't need breakfast as so close to cafes and we had very early morning trips booked…but I'm sure breakfast would have been good, if we needed.

What could be improved: We didn't dislike anything

  • Wonderful – Julia from Netherlands – June 17, 2025 (9/10)

The hotel is calm and charming. Surrounded by greenery. Inner courtyard with terraces is a unique feature. The location is great. The staff is very friendly and kind.

  • Very recommendable – Pilar from Germany – May 30, 2025 (8/10)

The hotel was nice and well located. Rooms were really comfortable and clean.

What could be improved: It is a bit old-fashioned in some aspects of the room. But this is just a pure question of taste.

  • Good place to stay – Kinga from Poland – May 28, 2025 (9/10)

Good location, well communicated, friendly staff, comfortable bed, fully equipped bathroom – we stayed 1 night and it was great

What could be improved: If ur windows are on the street side it gets a bit laud as there is a tram line just in front of the building

  • Good for solo travelling – Jessica from Malta – May 2, 2025 (8/10)

It was neat and comfortable for one person

What could be improved: I expect it to be a bit bigger. But overall it was nice

  • Great value for the money in Krakow – Andreea from Romania – March 24, 2025 (8/10)

I loved the location and the fact it was clean.

What could be improved: The furniture is a bit outdated, maybe the mattresses need to be changed.

  • Wonderful – Frederic from France – March 16, 2025 (9/10)

    staff very nice and helpfull

  • Good value for money – Ashling from Ireland – November 5, 2024 (7/10)

Beds were extremely comfortable. Lovely warm and cleans rooms. Location was only a 5 min walk to the old town and near bus stop for the airport. Good value for money

What could be improved: The bathroom decor is dated but functioned correctly. We were on the ground floor so a bit noisey if you opened the windown but fine when it was closed.
