Hotel Description
Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first pulled up to Nowe Zabłocie II – the name doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue, and Podgórze isn’t the first district most tourists think of when they picture Krakow. But you know what? That’s exactly why this place works so well. You’re tucked away in this quietly hip neighborhood that’s become something of a local secret, just across the Vistula from all the Old Town chaos but without feeling disconnected from it.
The building itself has that sleek, modern Polish vibe going on – clean lines, lots of glass, the kind of place that photographs well but actually feels comfortable to live in for a few days. What really got me was how quiet it is, especially at night. I mean, you’re still in a city, but Zabłocie street has this residential feel where you can actually sleep with the windows cracked open. The rooms are genuinely spacious too, not just “European spacious” where you can barely open your suitcase. There’s this attention to detail that you notice after a day or two – the way the blackout curtains actually block out light, how the shower has proper water pressure, little things that make you realize someone who travels designed this place.
Location-wise, it’s one of those spots that locals love but tourists are just starting to discover. You’ve got the Vistula riverbank literally a few minutes’ walk away, which is perfect for morning runs or evening strolls when the light hits the water just right. The real gem though is how easy it is to get around – there’s a tram stop nearby that’ll get you to Wawel Castle or the main square in maybe ten minutes, but you can also walk across the Bernatka footbridge (the one with all the love locks) and be in Kazimierz in fifteen minutes. I actually preferred this to staying right in the thick of things because you get to see how Krakovians actually live, plus there are some fantastic local restaurants tucked into the streets around here that you’d never find otherwise. The whole Zabłocie area has been quietly transforming over the past few years – there’s street art, converted warehouses, that kind of authentic urban renewal that hasn’t been sanitized for tourists yet. That 9.3 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve been there a few nights. It’s the kind of place where everything just works without being flashy about it.

Excellent – Alinacojocaru from Romania – June 30, 2025 (10/10)
The apartment has a very good location, with shops on the ground floor, the apartment is clean and equipped with a nice view, also it was close to important museums. The host provided complete information when we needed it and was very prompt. I highly recommend this property for visiting Krakow.

We had everything we needed. The appartment was very clean and cozy.A cosy apartment in a good location – Andrejus from Lithuania – July 21, 2024 (10/10)
The apartment is located in a new housing development near the old town. It is quiet because the windows face the inner yard. It has everything travellers need for a comfortable stay.
Nice and comfortable flat with free parking, but be ready to walk 🙂 – Agata from Poland – January 7, 2024 (8/10)
The flat was modern, clean and comfortable. Well equipped. Self check in, free comfortable underground parking place. Very good communication with the host. Nearby shops, bars and restaurants. Modern art museum and Jewish museum just around the corner.
What could be improved: There was some bad smell in the flat and noisy renovations in the neighborhood. Be aware that It's quite a walk to the centre, about 20 min to the Jewish district and maybe 40 min to the old town. By rain, it was quite an effort. We were walking about 20kms per day.Exceptional – Tanalana from Czech Republic – November 19, 2023 (10/10)
It was excellent.

Exceptional – Giaarm from Lithuania – June 19, 2023 (10/10)
The apartament is spacious, well lit. Kitchen area is wonderful and has everything you need in case you decide to go with homemade brekfast or dinner. The apartament in a whole is a very cozy, and well thought out place. Underground parking, elevators, the whole infrastructure around it is very nice, very clean and the staff is really helpful and cooperative. Very happy that we made a decision to stay at this exact place!
What could be improved: The wi-fi was a bit wonky, also it may be a bit difficult to get into your assigned building since the marking of the entrance gates is a bit confusing, but this is for the first time untill you get the hang of everything with the help of the staff. Our balcony was inside of the apartament building complex, so there was no scenic view that was mentioned in the additional info, so that was a bit of a bummer, but maybe we got confused somewhere with the info and it did not have any affect on our overall wonderfull experience of the stay in the appartament.Exceptional – Zbigniew from United Kingdom – February 15, 2023 (10/10)
