You know what caught me off guard about Nowy Kleparz Centrum Krakowa? The name sounds way more intimidating than the place actually is. I mean, it’s tucked away on Żuławskiego street in this quiet residential pocket that feels worlds apart from the tourist chaos around Main Market Square, but you’re honestly just a ten-minute walk from all the action. The building itself is one of those converted townhouses that Krakow does so well – nothing flashy, but it’s got character in the creaky floorboards and those impossibly high ceilings that make you wonder how anyone heated these places back in the day.

The rooms are pretty straightforward for a 3-star spot, though I was pleasantly surprised by how clean everything was and – this matters more than you’d think – the wifi actually works reliably throughout the building. The neighborhood is what really sells it for me, honestly. You’re close enough to Nowy Kleparz Market (hence the name) that you can grab fresh bread and local produce in the morning, but far enough from Floriańska Street that you won’t hear drunk tourists stumbling home at 3 AM. There’s this great little café called Karma just around the corner that locals actually go to, not just backpackers with guidebooks. The trams run frequently on nearby streets, so getting to Kazimierz or even out to Nowa Huta is dead simple if you want to venture beyond the obvious Old Town spots.

What I appreciated most was how the staff seemed to actually live in Krakow – they gave me directions to places using landmarks instead of just street names, which tells you something. The breakfast isn’t anything revolutionary, but it’s proper Polish fare with decent coffee, and they don’t rush you out if you want to linger over your meal and plan your day. Fair warning though – this isn’t the kind of place with a fancy lobby or concierge service. It’s more like staying in a friend’s apartment building, complete with that slightly musty smell that old European buildings never quite shake (not unpleasant, just… authentic). The 7.9 rating feels about right – it delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense. If you’re the type who wants to feel like you’re discovering a slice of real Krakow rather than staying in tourist central, this spot hits that sweet spot between accessible and local.

  Comfortable clean fine for a few days stay everything was clean and tidy 15 minutes walk from the square or £2.04p bolt taxi ride

  20 min walk to main town but bus/tram stop just 3 min walk away. Quite area, shop just around the corner. Bolt scooter stop close also (we used these to get around) cosy little apartment, shower clean with hot water. Kitchen has all you need and tv has smart option for netflix/prime. Bed was comphy with spare pillows and a wardrobe for storage. Would deff recommend

  The apartment was in a great location for the Christmas markets and centre. Spotlessly clean, easy instructions for entry. Facilities to make coffee or cook something if you wished.
  
  What could be improved: The parking, it is paid Parking and reasonable priced, but difficult to find a spot. We were lucky,, one car moved out within a few minutes. But I would still risk it.

  Equipment of appartment was OK.Good location 15 minutes walk to the city center. Parking nearby (60 PLN/day). Quiet and nice.

  Clean had everything you needed for a short stay, fan in the room which you needed at night as it was hot. Instructions where very good with pictures to help.
  
  What could be improved: Main Shower and removal shower did not work, removal shower was checked and sorted in 5 hours, just by messaging the owner.

  Well equipped with good modern fixtures and fittings. Good temperature and hot water. Fairly quiet location.
  Close to tram and bus lines which were cheap and very good. Also easy to use.
  
  What could be improved: Mattresses very uncomfortable with springs sticking in my back. No comfortable seating, only dining chairs.
  Description was not accurate. It is not in the center and not in the old town and it is not a “one bedroom “.
  Very little sound insulation from the 2 other adjacent rooms. Luckily they were often empty or had respectful occupants most of the time, but not always so sleeping was difficult.
