You know what struck me first about this place? It’s actually an apartment, not some cookie-cutter hotel room, and that makes all the difference when you’re staying in Kraków’s Grzegórzki district. I mean, you get real space to spread out – proper kitchen, living area, the works. The location on Blich street is honestly perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in the city rather than just visiting it.

The thing about Grzegórzki is that most tourists completely overlook it, which is their loss, really. You’re literally a 15-minute walk from the main square, but you’re staying where actual Krakovians live. There’s this authentic neighborhood vibe – I’d hear people chatting in Polish from their balconies in the evening, smell someone’s dinner cooking, that sort of thing. The tram connections are fantastic too (though honestly, I ended up walking most places because the Old Town is closer than you’d think). Parking was surprisingly manageable for this part of the city, which anyone who’s driven in Kraków will tell you is no small feat.

What really sold me on the place was the attention to detail – and I’m talking about stuff that matters when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The kitchen had proper cookware, not those flimsy tourist apartment basics. The WiFi was rock solid, which I actually tested because I had some work to catch up on. Check-in was smooth, though I’d recommend confirming the exact apartment number beforehand since it’s in a residential building. The 9.6 rating honestly makes sense once you’re there – it’s one of those places where you can tell someone actually cares about the guest experience rather than just going through the motions. The only minor thing I’d mention is that being in a real apartment building means you’ll occasionally hear neighbors, but that’s part of the authentic experience, right? Plus it was never disruptive, just… real life happening around you. If you’re the type who wants to actually experience Kraków rather than just tick off tourist boxes, this spot delivers in ways that surprised me.

  I really liked the apartment – it was very clean, spacious enough for five people, had a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, the host provided helpful information about restaurants and sightseeing, and the location was perfect.

  Great department with 3 bedrooms, livingroom, huge bathroom and modern kitchen. There is a big grocery store across the street, 8 min walk to old town center and the train & subway just outside the door. Great service from the lady in charge of the flat.

  It was very convenient and well organised to access the apartment. It was a great size for the family of 5 of us – and it was nice and warm on very cold days.   The apartment was so close to the train station, literally across the road,it was perfect for the transfer from the airport. it was so close to town .
  The apartment was great for us as we each had a bedroom, it's well equipped, modern, comfortable and clean with a big bathroom.
  The Hosts' communication and recommendations were great.

  The apartment was excellently presented and had a great layout. The shower is wonderful and beds comfortable. The apartment was warm but not too hot (November).Its location is perfect for the old town, trams and trains and local shops. Close to the Jewish cemetery if you wish to visit. Access to the building and apartment was easy. Our host answered all our questions and communicated extremely well. We were a group of five and found the facilities worked well for our group. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone. Great polish sausage van over the road at night and quite famous locally.
