Honestly, when I first walked up to this place on Juliana Dunajewskiego, I wasn’t sure what to expect – the street’s tucked away enough that you feel like you’re discovering something, but you’re literally a three-minute walk from the main square. Which, let me tell you, is the sweet spot in Krakow’s Old Town.

The “Charm & Chic” part of the name actually makes sense once you’re inside. It’s one of those converted old buildings where they’ve kept the character (think original hardwood floors that creak just enough to remind you you’re in a 600-year-old neighborhood) but updated everything that actually matters. The apartments – because that’s really what these are, proper apartments – have this lived-in feel that’s way better than sterile hotel rooms. I mean, there’s a full kitchen if you want to grab stuff from the little market on Grodzka Street, though honestly, with all the restaurants around here, I barely used it except for morning coffee. The beds are solid, the WiFi doesn’t cut out every ten minutes like some places in the Old Town, and the bathrooms are modern without feeling out of place.

You know what I loved most? The location gives you that authentic Old Town experience without the tourist trap feeling. Sure, you’ll hear some street noise during the day – it’s a living neighborhood, not a museum – but evenings are surprisingly quiet. You’re close enough to duck into Cloth Hall or climb up St. Mary’s Tower whenever you want, but you’re also on the same streets where locals actually live and shop. There’s this little bakery two blocks over that opens at 6 AM, and the guy who runs it will practice his English with you if you’re patient. The whole area feels real, if that makes sense. Parking’s a bit of a puzzle like everywhere in the Old Town (I’d honestly just use the trams), but the building has character you can’t fake – thick walls, interesting angles, the kind of place where every apartment feels a little different. It’s definitely more “stay in Krakow” than “visit Krakow,” which I think is exactly what you want if you’re spending more than a night or two. The 9 rating makes sense to me – it’s not luxury, but it nails what it’s trying to be.

  The apartment was immaculate—recently refurbished and beautifully maintained. Everything was perfect, from the modern amenities to the cozy atmosphere. Its location near the town center made it incredibly convenient for exploring. I truly appreciated the stay and would gladly return!

  What could be improved: Bad idea: the kitchen has not a smoke exhausting machine and the fire detection started beeping once UNBEARABLE!!! Nobody attended to switch it off. The detector is too high to be reached. To have a toaster and microwaves is another good idea

  The studio itself was perfect.
  
  What could be improved: The only downside was the building itself. There were numerous reconstruction sites in it and it was impossible to sleep after 7-8 AM. Since I guess the host has no control over it, I am only rating the studio itself rather than the whole experience with the reconstructions.

  The hotel is in a very good location, just a few minutes walk from the old town, very modernly furnished, very clean, there are dishes, a stove, a refrigerator, even a black coffee machine, tea.
  Very good price, we stayed for 2 nights.

  What could be improved: a few details that personally caused us some confusion – we only received instructions for entering the apartment at 4:01 p.m., which can sometimes be a problem if the phone runs out of battery during a long trip.
  The building and apartment number could have been more clearly indicated in the letter, we had a hard time finding it. It's good that the woman in the yard explained where the apartment was. Other people were also wandering around in the yard, not understanding where to find the place to stay. There could have been a small closet to the left of the bed to put clothes in, because it's very inconvenient to put them on a hanger.

  amazing location very close to centre, really close to convenience shops and food and bars. very modern and chic, comfortable beds and great kitchenette area! bathroom is very spacious, lots of great utilities. amazing value for money for what you get!
  
  What could be improved: only slight problem is the room is the top floor of a 4 story building, no lifts. about seven or eight flights of stairs up, which isn’t great to get up, wouldn’t totally recommend if you have mobility issues.
