Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about Old Town K34? It’s actually *in* the Old Town – and I mean properly in it, not some tourist trap on the edges pretending to be central. The building sits on Karmelicka Street, which honestly feels like you’ve stumbled into one of those perfectly preserved medieval quarters that somehow escaped getting bulldozed for parking lots. There’s this wonderful weight to the place, if that makes sense – thick walls that have clearly seen a few centuries, but the apartments themselves are completely modern without trying too hard to be trendy.
The thing about staying here is you’re literally a five-minute wander from the Main Square, but you’re not dealing with the constant parade of tour groups outside your window. Karmelicka has this nice residential feel – you’ll hear locals chatting as they head to work in the morning, maybe some kids playing football against the old stone walls. I mean, it’s still the city center so it’s not silent, but there’s something almost village-like about this particular pocket. The apartments themselves are what you’d hope for from a 4-star place that’s earned a 9.4 rating – everything works, the beds are actually comfortable (not always a given in Europe, honestly), and whoever designed them understood that travelers need proper lighting and enough outlets for all their devices.
What really won me over, though, was how the place manages to feel both historic and liveable. The building’s got character – you can feel the age in the stairwells and hallways – but step into your apartment and you’re not sacrificing modern conveniences for atmosphere. The kitchenettes are properly equipped if you want to grab groceries from the little markets nearby (there’s a great one just around the corner that locals actually use), and the bathrooms have decent water pressure, which… well, anyone who’s spent time in old European buildings will appreciate that. Plus, M Apartments clearly knows what they’re doing – check-in was smooth, they actually answer their phones when you have questions, and they seem to understand that business travelers and tourists have different needs. It’s the kind of place where you could easily spend a week working remotely or just use it as a base for exploring Krakow’s incredible food scene and historical sites. Either way, you’re going to feel like you’re staying somewhere with real roots in the city rather than some generic hotel that could be anywhere.
Best hotels in Krakow range from charming boutique properties in the historic Market Square to elegant converted palaces with stunning views of Wawel Castle and the Vistula River.

Amazing host experience, wonderful property. – Potts from United States – August 7, 2025 (10/10)
Location was super convenient to public transport and walking distance to many popular neighborhoods and sites.
What could be improved: Nothing, everything was amazing.Lovely apartment, great location and great host! – Dee from United Kingdom – June 11, 2025 (10/10)
This is a beautiful space. Modern, clean and in a great location. Super easy to walk into town and it felt very safe around the apartment even late at night. Lots of supermarkets near by so easy to stock up on essentials. The host is great! Accommodating and quick to reply.
What could be improved: The curtains are very thin so do let in a lot of light in the morning so maybe good to bring sleep masks – even if you are in the glass roomExceptional – Denise from Ireland – June 6, 2025 (10/10)
Beds were so comfortable
My boys loved having a sauna after all the walking and exploring its a very nice addition 👌

The beds were super comfortable and the host was quick to respond.
The property was very clean and modern, and the balcony was an added bonus! Such a lovely stay and perfect location.
What could be improved: The only slight thing that I feel would be a good addition would be black out curtains as it is very light on mornings.Great Location and comfortable stay, just a few suggestions to make it perfect. – Jessica from United Kingdom – May 12, 2025 (8/10)
Perfect location, close to Old Town square and near lots of attractions and popular restaurants, and close to an express supermarket. Very clean apartment and very comfortable. Somewhere safe and secure to leave luggage if arriving before check in time or leaving after check out. A great apartment for a group of 3 friends for a weekend city break. Jacek the host was very quick at responding to any questions, and messaged prior to arrival with all the key codes we needed, a suggestion for if we needed to use public transport, and the WiFi password. The infrared sauna was also a bonus for the end of two very long days. I would definitely recommend this apartment.
What could be improved: The only thing we were missing was a tea towel for drying up any dishes we used, and a suggestion to maybe have a welcome book with suggestions of places to go/eat, WiFi password and information on how to use the safe, and any other info we may need to know. we also found it odd there were no instructions or even safety instructions on how to use the infrared sauna especially considering there are no fire alarms in the apartment.Great stay – Dobbs from United Kingdom – May 3, 2025 (10/10)
The apartment was lovely and clean and had everything you needed. The balcony was lovely especially as we had good weather so made use of it in the evening before we went out. It was near the old town so was easily walkable. We had a great stay.
What could be improved: Nothing badExcellent accommodation, lovely area and beautiful city. – Debbie from United Kingdom – April 22, 2025 (10/10)
The apartment was in a great location, not too far from main square. The apartment itself was beautiful and clean. Enjoyed the seated balcony as the weather was glorious. Would definitely book again.

We had a lovely stay here during our first visit to Krakow. A short stroll to the Old Town but enough on our door step – Beverley from United Kingdom – April 3, 2025 (10/10)
Everything- location, clean, spacious. Everything we needed. Didn’t sit on the terrace as it was cooler in the evenings and we were out during the day. Would love to visit again and spend more time in Old Town.
Jacek was very contactable and very helpful!Exceptional – Diane from United Kingdom – March 29, 2025 (10/10)
