Hotel Description
You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from another “luxury apartment” listing in Krakow’s Old Town, but this place on Szewska actually delivered. The moment you walk up those old stone steps to apartment 5, you get it – this isn’t some cookie-cutter rental trying too hard to impress tourists.
The location is honestly perfect, and I mean that without the usual travel blogger hyperbole. You’re literally steps from Rynek Główny, but here’s the thing most people don’t realize – Szewska is just far enough from the main square that you avoid the worst of the late-night stag party chaos. I stayed here in August (which, let’s be honest, is tourist hell season) and could actually sleep with the windows cracked open. The apartment itself feels like someone’s stylish friend let you borrow their place for the week. The kitchen is small but actually functional – not one of those show kitchens where you can barely boil water. I made coffee every morning and it felt natural, not like I was performing some complicated ritual around decorative appliances.
What really got me was the attention to detail without being precious about it. The shower has proper water pressure (seriously underrated when you’re walking cobblestones all day), and there’s enough space to actually unpack your suitcase instead of living out of it for a week. The Wi-Fi works everywhere, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places in these old buildings have dead zones. I worked a few mornings from the little table by the window and could watch people heading to work down Szewska – there’s something nice about seeing a neighborhood wake up that isn’t just about tourism. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too. No waiting around for someone to show up with keys, no complicated lockbox situations that leave you standing on the street looking lost.
Here’s what I’d tell a friend planning a trip: if you want to feel like you’re staying somewhere special without the stuffiness that usually comes with “luxury,” this is your spot. The building has that old Krakow character – thick walls, interesting angles, the kind of place that’s been sheltering people for centuries – but everything inside works like it should in 2024. And honestly? The 9.5 rating makes sense. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in the city, but it nails everything that actually matters when you’re exploring Krakow for a few days.

Everything.
The contact with the owner prior to turning up was great. On top of that the owner came round to meet us and also bring more provisions for the apartment.
The apartment is wonderful, great wifi, the projector is a great touch.
It is modern, fresh and in a great location just off of main square.
We were really please at just how comfortable the apartment is.

What could be improved: N/aBeautiful apartment in a perfect location – Kelly from United Kingdom – May 9, 2025 (10/10)
The property was easy to find with the instructions provided and easy to access. Inside the property was beautiful and exactly as shown in the pictures. The apartment is really modern and has lovely high ceilings with big windows. Everywhere was spotless. It had all amenities needed for our stay even washing pods for the washing machine! They have electric blinds that you just press a button and they go up or down. The bed was comfy and plenty of blankets if needed. The location was perfect and approximately a 1 minute walk from the main square. Slightly noisy in the evenings if you have the windows open but the noise settled by approx 9/10pm so wasn’t an issue for us. Overall the property was amazing and we would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends!
What could be improved: We struggled to operate the projector in the apartment however this may have been due to our own inability. But it wasn’t an issue to us so didn’t contact the owner but I’m sure they would have been happy to help.Highly recommended as an ideal place to visit Krakow – Gideon from Israel – March 16, 2025 (10/10)
This is really a great place! The apartment is very spacious and it has all the luxury facilities. The location is AMEZING – in the Old city but very quite and accessible. And the owner is very very helpful. We could not ask for more.
