Okay, so I’ll be honest – when I first saw the address on Plac Bohaterów Getta, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The name sounds a bit dramatic, but you know what? This place actually surprised me in the best way possible. It’s tucked right in Old Town Krakow, and I mean *right* in it – you can literally walk out the door and be surrounded by all that medieval architecture within minutes. The apartment itself feels more upscale than your typical 3-star spot, which explains that 9.3 rating (seriously, that’s impressive for any hotel).

The location is what really gets me though. Ghetto Heroes Square isn’t just some random plaza – it’s got this incredible historical weight to it, and honestly, staying there made me appreciate Krakow’s story in a way I wouldn’t have otherwise. You’re basically a 10-minute stroll from the main square, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with all those tourist crowds stumbling back from the bars at 2 AM. I actually found myself taking different routes each day just because there are so many little cobblestone streets to explore around there. And here’s something nobody tells you – the tram connections from this area are fantastic. Line 3 and 24 run right nearby, so getting to Kazimierz or even out to Nowa Huta is surprisingly easy.

What I really appreciated was how the apartment felt like, well, an actual apartment rather than a hotel room with that sterile vibe. The square view they mention? It’s legit – you can sit by the window in the morning with your coffee and just watch the city wake up. The building itself has character (translation: it’s old, but in a charming way, not a “why doesn’t anything work” way). Check-in was smooth – they actually met me there personally, which was nice because some of these apartment-style places just leave you fumbling with lockboxes. One small thing though – if you’re traveling in summer, it can get pretty warm up there during the day, but the evenings cool down nicely. Also, fair warning if you’re a super light sleeper: you’ll hear some street noise during the day, but honestly, that’s just Krakow being Krakow. I kind of liked falling asleep to the sound of people chatting as they walked home from dinner. The whole area has this lived-in feeling that you don’t get when you’re stuck out in some modern hotel district. Plus, there’s a Żabka convenience store literally around the corner, and trust me, you’ll appreciate that more than you think.

Hotels near me in Krakow offer convenient access to the medieval center, where guests can easily walk to St. Mary’s Basilica, Cloth Hall, and traditional Polish restaurants.

  Very clean and looked after apartment. It looks like it was just renovated. Walking distance to the center. The tram stop is just a few steps away as well as the newly built train station from where you can easily get a train to the airport. Lots of nice restaurants and coffee shops in the area.

  Wejście do mieszkania było bezproblemowe a instrukcje odnośnie wejścia wysłane przez właściciela były jasne. W mieszkaniu zastałam wszystkie potrzebne mi rzeczy takie jak ręczniki, suszarka do włosów, żelazko czy czajnik oraz przybory kuchenne. Wyposażenie było czyste i sprawne. Łóżko również wygodne jednak na dwie osoby odrobinę za małe, nie polecam dla osób które potrzebują dużo miejsca do spania. Dodatkowo kontakt z właścicielem był bezproblemowy.

  Bardzo czysty apartament i dobrze wyposażony aneks kuchenny. Przystanek tramwajowy przy budynku. Chętnie tam wrócimy.

  Pobyt w tym miejscu był naprawdę wyjątkowy i przekroczył moje oczekiwania. Lokalizacja jest absolutnie idealna – blisko do najważniejszych atrakcji turystycznych, a jednocześnie w cichej i spokojnej okolicy, co zapewniało komfortowy wypoczynek. Właściciel obiektu zasługuje na szczególne wyróżnienie – miły, uprzejmy i pomocny przez cały pobyt. Zawsze chętnie udzielał informacji i dbał o to, żebyśmy czuli się jak w domu.
  
  Mieszkanie było przestronne, bardzo czyste i świetnie wyposażone. Wygodne łóżka zapewniły nam doskonały sen, a dbałość o detale w wystroju wnętrza sprawiała, że czuliśmy się naprawdę jak w domu.
  
  Wszystko było w idealnym porządku – od czystości, przez udogodnienia, aż po przytulną atmosferę.
  
  Nie mogę się doczekać, aby wrócić do tego miejsca. To zdecydowanie jeden z najlepszych noclegów, w jakich miałem okazję przebywać w Atenach. Serdecznie polecam każdemu, kto szuka wygodnego, czystego i świetnie położonego miejsca na pobyt. Zdecydowanie warto!
