Old Town Premium Queen`s Apartments Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Old Town Premium Queen`s Apartments on Augustiańska Street, you immediately get that “I’m in the real Kraków” feeling. The building sits right in the medieval heart of the city — I mean, you’re literally surrounded by centuries-old architecture and cobblestone streets. It’s one of those three-star places that punches above its weight, honestly, because the location alone makes it feel more upscale than you’d expect. The entrance has this understated elegance that doesn’t try too hard, which I actually appreciate after staying in some overly flashy hotels.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s the thing about staying in Kraków’s Old Town — most places either cost a fortune or stick you somewhere touristy and loud. This spot manages to avoid both traps. You’re close enough to walk to the Main Market Square in just a few minutes (seriously, it’s right there), but Augustiańska Street itself stays relatively quiet, especially in the evenings. What I love is that you can grab morning coffee at local cafés where actual Krakovians go, not just the tourist spots. The fact that couples rate the location 9.6 makes total sense — there’s something romantic about wandering these medieval streets together, and you’ll find plenty of intimate restaurants within a stone’s throw.
The Apartments
The apartment-style setup works really well here, especially if you’re staying more than a night or two. You get proper living space instead of being cramped in a standard hotel room, plus having a kitchenette means you can pick up fresh bread and local cheese from the nearby market halls. The furnishings strike that sweet spot between modern comfort and respecting the historic character of the building. I noticed they’ve clearly put thought into the details — good lighting, comfortable seating areas, and windows that actually open (which matters more than you’d think in these old buildings).
Practical Perks
One thing that genuinely surprised me was the private parking situation. Finding parking in Kraków’s Old Town is usually a nightmare, so having an on-site option is honestly a game-changer if you’re driving. The staff seems to understand that travelers need real help navigating the city — they’ll point you toward the best pierogi spots and let you know when to avoid the crowds at popular attractions. It’s that kind of local insight that makes a three-star place feel more personal and valuable than some higher-rated hotels I’ve stayed at.
Why Guests Love It
What keeps people coming back to Old Town Premium Queen`s Apartments isn’t just the prime location (though that 9.6 location score speaks for itself). It’s the combination of being in the absolute heart of historic Kraków while still having space to breathe and settle in properly. You’re not just passing through — you can actually live a bit like a local, even if it’s just for a few days. The apartment setup means couples can have romantic mornings with coffee and pastries, then step outside into one of Europe’s most beautiful medieval cities. That’s pretty hard to beat, especially at this price point.
Savvy travelers reserve a hotel in Krakow before summer brings riverside beer gardens, day trips to the Wieliczka Salt Mine, and long evenings on the Vistula boulevards.

On the photo the main room appears larger. The flat is small, but very nice and modern. It is situated in the center of the old city, near the Wavel, shops, cafes, restaurants and city transport. (I do not advice the restoran "U Doroty", the rest are nice and tasty.) There were shampoo, soap, bathgel, the laundry gel in the bathroom, salt, peper, sugar, coffee and tea in the kitchen. The comunication with the appartment servise personal was nice, quick and simple (Michal). Everything was nice and pleasant 👌
