You know what caught me off guard about Only Kraków Apartments? The location is actually ridiculous – and I mean that in the best way possible. When you’re staying right on Floriańska, you’re basically living in the heart of medieval Krakow’s most famous street. I’m talking about the royal route that connects the Main Market Square to the Barbican, so you’ll be hearing those horse-drawn carriages clopping past your windows pretty regularly (honestly, it’s charming during the day, though you might want to pack earplugs if you’re a light sleeper).

The apartments themselves feel more sophisticated than your typical vacation rental – there’s this clean, modern Polish design thing going on that actually works really well against the historic building bones. What I really appreciated was how they’ve managed to keep the character of these old Krakow townhouses while making everything feel fresh and functional. The kitchens are properly equipped too, which matters because you’ll definitely want to grab some pierogi from the market and have a proper meal in. The reception situation is smart – they’ve got it centralized on Floriańska 39, so there’s always someone around to help, unlike those places where you’re just crossing your fingers that someone answers their phone.

Here’s the thing about staying in this exact spot – you’re literally a two-minute walk from St. Mary’s Basilica and maybe five minutes from all the best milk bars and craft beer places tucked into the side streets. I mean, you could stumble back from Pod Wawelem or Alchemia without even thinking about it. The 8.2 rating makes sense because it’s not trying to be some fancy hotel experience, but it delivers exactly what you want from a Krakow stay – authentic location, solid comfort, and that feeling like you’re actually living in the city rather than just visiting it. Fair warning though: this street gets pretty busy during peak tourist season, so if you’re coming in summer, embrace the energy or maybe request a unit facing the courtyard if they have one.

  The room felt like I was staying in a castle, absolutely gorgeous. Great location as well.
  
  What could be improved: It took us about an hour to get to our room from the time we started looking for the keys. It felt like a treasure hunt that I was not enjoying, given it was midnight. It was also a bit confusing trying to get the keys, then trying to find the apartment, then getting in. Its a whole process.

  Excellent location, absolutely beautiful apartment in a safe, secure and well lit complex. Very clean and comfortable and brilliant value for money. Will definitely recommend to friends
  
  What could be improved: A couple of small points, picking the keys up from the office was confusing and time wasting as we couldn’t find the office and neither could the uber driver. Would be more useful if a key pad was on the main door of the apartment, the same as the entry pad.
  Also after a long day of travelling a few tea bags or sachets of coffee and a small milk in the fridge would go a long way.
  Also no toilet roll provided, unsure if this was an oversight by the cleaners, we grabbed some from downstairs in the shop.

  Very good location and very spacious. Very comfortable place to stay.
  
  What could be improved: The fan was sufficient but an actual AC unit would have been very nice due to how hot Krakow was during the stay.

  t was at a perfect location at the heart of the old city. Room (name princess 1 i think) was spacious and exaclty like the photos. Tasteful decoration, big comfortable bed, clean and totally a very value for money choise. Floor heating, big closets and new bathroom.
  
  What could be improved: wo minor problems:
  When i arrive at the room, there was only onw towel for 2 person. I call thw host at 5 p.m to ask for one more and althought he was willing and polite to help me and promise me that he would leave at my room door thw towel, nothing happened. I came back at midnight and there was no towel. I called them again and after 10 minutes they brought me this towel.
  Another problem was that 3 out of seven (i am not sure about number) sockets was not working.
