Hotel Description
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to P19 Apartments on Poselska Street, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The building itself is this beautifully restored piece of Old Town architecture, tucked away just enough that you feel like you’ve discovered something the tour groups haven’t completely overrun yet. And that’s actually the genius of this place – you’re literally a three-minute walk from the Main Market Square, but Poselska is one of those quieter side streets where you can actually hear yourself think.
The apartments themselves? Well, they’ve really nailed that sweet spot between modern comfort and respecting the historical character. I mean, you’ve got all the essentials working properly (which honestly can be hit-or-miss in some Old Town properties), but they haven’t stripped away the charm with some generic renovation. The ceilings are proper high, the way they should be in a building like this, and there’s this attention to detail in the furnishing that makes it feel like someone actually lives there – not just a sterile hotel room. What really impressed me was the kitchen setup; it’s compact but thoughtfully designed, which matters if you want to grab some fresh bread from the market and have a quiet breakfast before the crowds descend. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building too, though you know what – sometimes it’s nice to just put the laptop away and lean out the window to watch the early morning deliveries rumbling over the cobblestones.
Here’s what nobody tells you about staying in this part of Krakow: the soundscape changes completely depending on the season and time of day. Summer evenings can get lively (in a good way) with people heading to dinner, but by 10 PM it settles into this perfect urban hum. Winter nights? Absolutely magical – especially when there’s snow muffling the sounds and the street lamps cast these warm pools of light on Poselska. The 8.8 rating makes sense when you experience the whole package; it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but everything works as it should. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, parking… well, forget about parking directly outside (this is medieval Old Town, after all), but they’ll point you toward the nearest options that won’t break the bank. What really sold me on this place is how it strikes that balance – you’re staying somewhere with genuine character and history, but you’re not sacrificing modern reliability for the sake of atmosphere. It’s the kind of spot where you can settle in for a few days and actually feel like you’re experiencing Krakow rather than just passing through it.

Reviews
Great location, clean, lots of room & a washing machine! – Patricia from United States – July 17, 2025 (9/10)
We stayed 4 nights here. The location was outstanding, 1/2 block from the Main Street that led to Market Square and 3-4 minutes from tram lines. There were 4 outstanding restaurants on the street, making it very convenient to find dinner after a long day of activities. The apartment had a washing machine and drying rack – very much needed and appreciated. The air con worked very well making it comfortable to sleep at night. There was a lot of room in the apartment making it easy to spread out, make tea and wash up dishes. I had a problem with the washing machine and the owners/managers were very prompt in replying and offering solutions. The bed was comfortable and the linens were nice. Bathroom and shower were a bit small, but clean and worked well. There is a motion activated light going into the bathroom, but since it's at the far end away from the bedroom, it did not wake anyone.
What could be improved: You had to go up two flights of stairs that were dark, had to use our iPhone flashlight. There was a door mat in front of the entry door that slipped/skidded out from under your feet – we put it away to avoid accidents. There are a plethora of light switches, it takes a little while to figure out which ones go to what light.Exceptional – Nikki from United Kingdom – June 15, 2025 (10/10)

The apartment is very spacious, fully equipped and in the heart of krakow. The host was also very helpful.
What could be improved: There is a smell from the bathroom, but in compare with the rest, its nothing. The little details – Whistleduck from United Kingdom – January 24, 2025 (10/10)
There was so much attention to detail, they included little touches like coffee pods and dishwasher tablets that I was pleasantly surprised by. The apartment was huge and they sent clear instructions for access which was really appreciated. As a woman with long and thick hair I definitely appreciated the shower as it had no issue rinsing my conditioner fully. The location was excellent and I would absolutely stay again and recommend.
What could be improved: I found the front door a little tricky to work but my husband had no issue with it so almost definitely just me!Adorable home away from home in the heart of Krakow. – Jacqueline from United States – December 14, 2024 (10/10)
Fully stocked home for anything you need! Clean and spacious, located in an ideal spot, and private.
What could be improved: Accessing the apartment at night requires flashlights to get to the stairs. There was a bit of an odd smell in the bathroom the full time we were there.
