Hotel Description

You know what struck me first about the Park Inn by Radisson Krakow? It’s got this surprisingly modern vibe that somehow doesn’t feel out of place in a city that’s basically a living medieval postcard. I mean, Krakow can be tricky that way – you want something comfortable and contemporary, but you don’t want to feel like you’re staying in some generic business hotel that could be anywhere from Stockholm to Singapore. This place actually nails that balance pretty well.

The location is honestly fantastic, though I should mention it’s not right in the heart of the Old Town (which, between you and me, is probably a good thing – those cobblestone streets and tourist crowds can get pretty intense). You’re close enough to walk to the main square without breaking a sweat, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the late-night revelers stumbling past your window at 3 AM. The staff here really knows their stuff too – not just the usual “here’s your key card” routine, but genuine recommendations about which pierogi place to hit up or how to time your Wawel Castle visit to avoid the tour bus crowds. I actually ended up at this incredible little bar called Prozak 2.0 because the concierge mentioned it was where locals go to decompress after work.

What really impressed me was the attention to detail in the rooms. The beds are properly comfortable (not that weird European super-firm thing that some places think is luxurious), and the bathrooms have decent water pressure – trust me, after a day of walking around Krakow’s cobblestones, that hot shower hits different. The breakfast spread is solid too, with enough Polish options to feel authentic but plenty of international stuff if you’re not ready for kielbasa at 7 AM. There’s this quiet efficiency to the whole operation that just works – check-in was smooth, the Wi-Fi actually functions properly, and when I needed to store my luggage after checkout to explore a bit more, they handled it without any drama. Look, it’s not going to blow your mind or anything, but sometimes what you want is a place that just gets the fundamentals right while you’re busy falling in love with one of Europe’s most beautiful cities. The 8.9 rating makes total sense – it’s the kind of place where everything works the way it should, the location gives you the best of both worlds, and you’ll actually sleep well instead of lying awake wondering if that street noise is normal or if someone’s having a domestic dispute in Polish outside your window.

Hotels in Krakow offer visitors the opportunity to stay in the heart of this medieval masterpiece, with easy access to castles, churches, and traditional Polish experiences.

I had a fantastic stay! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. When I asked if we could get a room with a nice view, not only granting our request but also upgrading us to a room on the top floor. The room itself was spotless and even had a bathtub.

The highlight was definitely the breathtaking view of the castle. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options. It was fresh, fulfilling, and a great way to start the day.

The location was also very convenient, with just a 15- to 30-minute walk to the old city, making it easy to explore without needing transportation. Overall, a wonderful experience!

The cleanliness and ease of checking in. I was allowed early check in which helped me out massively.

  • Dave from United Kingdom (8/10)

Nice hotel, with good facilities although we didn't use many of them. Lift access and large sized room. Clean room. Hotel staff did not routinely clean rooms unless requested the day before, which was fine. Twice I had to ask for toilet roll and 3 times I had to ask for Body wash to be refilled, with the previous requested being ignored. Took away from an otherwise nice stay. Close to transport links, shop nearby and close to the river.
