Hotel Description
You know what caught me off guard about Parkside Apartments Old Town? The name makes it sound like some generic extended-stay place, but honestly, this is one of those hidden gems that locals probably wish tourists wouldn’t discover. I mean, with a 9-star rating, the secret’s already out, but still.
Walking up to the building, you immediately get why they called it “Parkside” – there’s this lovely green space right across the way where you’ll actually see families having picnics and kids running around, not just the usual tourist crowds. The apartments themselves feel more like staying at a sophisticated friend’s place than a hotel. I’m talking real kitchens with decent cookware (not those sad little coffee makers and mini-fridges), and windows that actually open – which is rarer than you’d think these days. The four-star rating feels about right; it’s not trying to be some flashy luxury property, but everything works perfectly and the attention to detail is there.
What really sold me was the Old Town location itself. You’re walking distance from all the main attractions, sure, but more importantly, you’re in the thick of where actual life happens. There’s this amazing bakery just two blocks down that opens at 6 AM – the smell of fresh bread literally drifts through the neighborhood and serves as your natural alarm clock. The apartment walls are thick enough that street noise isn’t an issue, but thin enough that you feel connected to the energy outside. Parking was surprisingly manageable (they have their own spots, thank god), and check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no lengthy lobby presentations or pushy upgrade attempts.
The apartments themselves are spacious in that European way where every square foot is thoughtfully used. The beds are properly comfortable, not hotel-firm, and there’s actual closet space for longer stays. I particularly loved the little balconies – not big enough for a dinner party, but perfect for morning coffee while watching the neighborhood wake up. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the WiFi can get a bit spotty during peak evening hours when everyone’s streaming, but honestly, being slightly disconnected in a place this charming isn’t the worst problem to have. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels authentic rather than sanitized, somewhere you could actually imagine living rather than just passing through, this place nails it perfectly.
To book hotel in Krakow during the famous Krakow Film Festival season, visitors should make reservations well in advance as the city attracts history enthusiasts and cultural travelers from around the world.

We are very thanful for friendly staff who welcomed us even before our check in! Lady allowed us to leave our suitcases until the apartment was cleaned.
Breakfast was plentiful, but not something we could eat for more than 4 days. The apartment is beautiful, well equipped and spacious!Kalampaliki from Greece (9/10)
Very well designed small apartments. Very well equiped. The decoration and atmosphere was very cosy and warm. In the room they had for us coffee, tea, and a bottle of wine as a welcome gift. Very spacious room.
