I ended up cooking a few meals because the local market (maybe a ten-minute walk) had incredible produce, and well, sometimes you just want to eat something that isn’t pierogi at 2 PM.

What really sold me was how quiet it gets at night – and I’m someone who usually travels with earplugs because city noise drives me crazy. The building sits just off the main drag so you’re not dealing with late-night trams or drunk tourists, but you’re not stranded in some residential area either. After a day of walking around cobblestone streets and climbing castle walls, you just want a comfortable bed, a hot shower, and maybe space to spread your stuff out without living out of a suitcase. This place delivers on all that without the inflated prices you’d pay closer to the main square.
