You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from Pawia Apartments Centrum when I first walked up – I mean, it’s got that straightforward name that doesn’t exactly scream luxury. But honestly, this place surprised me in the best way possible. The building itself has this solid, unpretentious vibe that fits right into the neighborhood, and there’s something refreshing about a hotel that doesn’t try too hard to impress you with fancy lobbies and marble everywhere.

The apartments themselves are actually really well thought out – whoever designed these spaces clearly understood that travelers want functionality without sacrificing comfort. My unit had this great little kitchenette that wasn’t just for show (you know how some hotel “kitchens” are basically useless). I could actually cook a proper breakfast, which saved me a ton of money during my stay. The living area flows nicely into the sleeping space, and while it’s not huge, everything feels purposeful. The Wi-Fi was solid throughout – I worked from the little desk by the window for a few mornings without any issues. One thing I really appreciated was how quiet it stayed, even though you’re right in the centrum. I mean, you’ll hear some street noise during the day, but nothing that kept me up at night.

What really won me over was the location – and I don’t just mean it’s “conveniently located” (God, I hate that phrase). You’re actually in the thick of things here. I could walk to most of the places I wanted to see, and there’s this great little café just around the corner that serves incredible coffee – the kind of spot you’d never find unless you were staying in the neighborhood. The tram connections are fantastic too, which came in handy when I wanted to venture further out. Check-in was smooth, no drama, and the staff seemed genuinely helpful rather than just going through the motions. They had good recommendations for restaurants that weren’t obvious tourist traps. The 8.1 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not trying to be a five-star palace, but it delivers exactly what it promises. For the price point, especially if you’re planning to spend most of your time exploring rather than lounging around the hotel, this place hits that sweet spot of comfort and practicality. I’d definitely stay here again.
