You know what caught me off guard about this place? The moment I walked into this penthouse on Starowiślna, I actually forgot I was staying in what’s technically an apartment rental. I mean, the whole setup feels more like a boutique hotel than someone’s Airbnb side hustle – and honestly, that’s exactly what you want when you’re trying to experience Krakow without the tourist trap feeling.

The location is just ridiculously good, and I don’t say that lightly since I’ve stayed all over this city. Starowiślna runs right through the heart of Old Town, so you’re literally a three-minute walk from the Main Square (which gets absolutely packed during summer evenings, fair warning). But here’s the thing most people don’t realize – being on this particular stretch means you can duck down to Planty Park whenever the cobblestone crowds get overwhelming, or grab incredible pierogi from that little spot on Grodzka that locals actually go to. The free parking situation is honestly a game-changer too, because finding a spot in this part of Krakow usually involves either paying through the nose or walking half a mile from some random side street.

What really sold me on the place was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between luxury and livability. The penthouse setup means you get these great views over the Old Town rooftops – particularly nice in the early morning when you can see the Cloth Hall before the tour groups descend. The space itself feels genuinely spacious (not that fake “European spacious” where you can barely fit a suitcase), and the kitchen is actually functional if you want to grab some local cheese and bread from the market. I spent a couple evenings just hanging out on the terrace with a bottle of Polish wine, watching the sunset paint those medieval buildings golden. The 8.6 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s clearly well-maintained, the Hosty team responds quickly when you need something, and the whole experience feels more personal than your typical hotel stay. Sure, you might hear some street noise during weekend nights (it’s Old Town, after all), but that’s just the sound of Krakow being alive around you.

  Great two-level apartment in the center! With free parking. On booking the apartment clearly looks much worse than it actually is. This is an apartment with two bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen with brand new furniture. Each room has an air conditioner, which makes your stay very comfortable in the heat. We had a late flight and the owners allowed us to extend our stay absolutely free of charge. For which we are very grateful! Thank you Jakub and Alina! You are unlikely to find an apartment of this level for such a price!

  I've been traveling with my family (5 people total, all adults), and we were looking for a nice place to stay at that is close to the city center. The location was great, and we decided to pick this place. Judging by the photos, we all thought that this would be just another "average" apartment. But once we arrived, we all were pleasurably stunned.
  
  The apartments are located on the top floor of the building. They are very spacious with two separate bedrooms and one living room. It has everything you need. Washing machine, coffee machine, big table for 6 people, plenty of plates and glasses, dishwasher (including the tablets for it), all the towels, big modern TV, etc. It is warm, cozy, spacious and overall we were delighted to stay there. The host was very helpful and polite as well. He answered all my questions and gave detailed instructions along the way. Even though we never met face to face, it was very easy communicating with him via WhatsApp and booking chat.
  
  To sum it all up, within a few days we all got so used to it that we started calling it home. And indeed, it really felt like it.
  A big shoutout to the host and beautiful apartments. If we will ever visit Kraków again, I'll make sure to book this place 100%.
  
  What could be improved: Everything was fantastic except maybe two very minor things.
  1. There is small damage on the wall in the bathroom that slightly prevents you from opening the door to access the washing machine easily.
  2. The coffee machine had a water tank leak.
  
  Once again, those are very minor issues.

  Квартира двоповерхова, простора, для 2х сімей ідеально, розташування – у самому центрі, 6 хв.до центральної площі, чиста, біла постіль, є майже все устаткування на кухні, посуд, все сподобалось.

  Ηταν ευρύχωρο για 3 ζευγάρια. Ηταν ζεστό για την εποχή που πήγαμε (Φεβρουάριος 2025). Είχε εύκολη πρόσβαση και θέα σε κεντρικό σχετικά σημείο. Πολύ κοντά στην εβραϊκή γειτονιά και αρκετά κοντά στην παλιά πόλη , εύκολα προσβάσιμα με τα πόδια (10-15 λεπτά)
  
  What could be improved: Θα θέλαμε να έχει και πετσέτες προσώπου και όχι μόνο σώματος. Επίσης θα θέλαμε και ένα απορρυπαντικό πιάτων για να πλύνουμε τα πιάτα μας.
