Hotel Description
Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places over the years, but Penthouse Panorama by LoftAffair actually caught me off guard – and honestly, that doesn’t happen much anymore. The name sounds a bit pretentious, I’ll give you that, but once you step inside, you get why they went with it. The views are absolutely ridiculous in the best possible way. I mean, floor-to-ceiling windows that make you feel like you’re floating above the city, and the natural light just floods everything. My friend Sarah came to visit and literally spent twenty minutes just standing at the window with her coffee – she’s usually glued to her phone, so that tells you something.
What really got me was how they’ve managed to make such a modern space feel, well, lived-in rather than sterile. The furniture has this perfect worn-in quality (not actually worn, just… comfortable), and there are these unexpected touches everywhere. Like, they’ve got real books on the shelves – not just decorative spines – and the kitchen actually has proper knives and decent pans. You know how most hotel kitchens are basically useless? Not here. I ended up cooking dinner twice because everything was so well-equipped, and honestly, eating while watching the sunset through those massive windows beat any restaurant experience I had that week. The whole loft setup means you’re not cramped into separate little rooms either – it flows really naturally from living area to bedroom to that incredible bathroom with the soaking tub.
Check-in was refreshingly straightforward (no stuffy lobby scene, just efficient and friendly), and the building itself is surprisingly quiet considering you’re right in the thick of things. I was worried about street noise, but the windows must be triple-glazed or something because I slept like a baby. The only minor thing – and I’m really reaching here – is that the air conditioning takes a few minutes to really kick in, but given how well-designed everything else is, it feels petty to complain. What really sealed it for me was coming back after a long day of meetings and genuinely feeling excited to be “home.” That 9.4 rating isn’t just numbers on a screen – you can feel why people keep coming back to this place. It’s got that rare combination of being impressive enough for special occasions but comfortable enough that you’d actually want to hang out there on a quiet evening.
