Hotel Description
Honestly, when I first walked up to this place on Rynek Kleparski, I wasn’t sure what to expect – the building looks pretty standard from street level, but then you take that elevator up and… wow. The Penthouse Panorama lives up to its name in a way that actually surprised me. You’re literally looking out over the red-tiled rooftops of Old Town, and on clear mornings (which Krakow gets more often than you’d think), you can see all the way to the castle.
What I love about staying here is that you’re right in the thick of things but not dealing with the chaos of the main square. Rynek Kleparski is this smaller market square that locals still use – there’s usually someone selling flowers or bread rolls in the morning, and it has that authentic Polish neighborhood feel without being touristy. You can walk to Cloth Hall in maybe eight minutes, but you’re not hearing drunk tourists singing at 2 AM like you would on Floriańska Street. The loft setup is pretty clever too – they’ve got this open-plan thing going that doesn’t feel cramped, which is saying something since Polish apartments aren’t exactly known for being spacious. The kitchen’s actually functional (I made coffee every morning instead of paying café prices), and the bathroom has one of those rainfall showers that doesn’t run out of hot water after five minutes.
I mean, it’s not perfect – the stairs up to the loft bedroom are a bit steep if you’re carrying heavy luggage, and street parking around here can be… well, let’s just say I got good at parallel parking during my stay. But honestly? The 9.2 rating makes total sense. The owner clearly knows what they’re doing – check-in was smooth, they had local restaurant recommendations that weren’t just the obvious tourist traps, and when my radiator was making weird noises one night, someone actually came to fix it the next day. You know what really sold me though? Sitting on that little balcony in the evening with a beer from the Żabka downstairs, watching the light change over the old town buildings. It’s the kind of view that makes you understand why people fall in love with this city. If you’re the type who wants to feel like you’re living in Krakow rather than just passing through, this place gets it right.

Wonderful apartment, we would be more than happy to stay there again. – Linda from Germany – August 7, 2025 (9/10)
The location is wonderful with tram stops, a small supermarket, a bakery and the farmer's market on the doorstep. The apartment was spotless, the beds comfortable, and the terrace with a view over the city (facing west so you could watch the sunset) was beautiful. (The balcony off the kitchen faces east for the sunrises!)
The rooms are a good size and airy, with lots of windows and light.
There was a small bottle of mineral water for each of us, there was tea, coffee and sugar, salt and pepper. Such nice welcome touches. Nice espresso machine, a real one, not with pods.
There were two hand towels and two bath towels per person, which was great.
What could be improved: Here are a couple of details that are not complaints, just tips/suggestions.
There were no tea towels, and it would have been nice to have a couple of extra hand towels (one for the guest WC and one for the kitchen).
The description says there is an oven and a toaster, yet neither was there, but there was a microwave. The induction stove only has two burners, so between that and no oven, cooking is a bit limited.
There were only two dishwasher tabs. One per day would have been helpful.
Recycling is available, but there was only one rubbish bin under the sink. We organized the recycling anyway, as they did leave more than enough bin liners, but a second bin would have been helpful.
Some of us found the shower stall very slippery, so we had to put a terry cloth bathmat down while showering. A proper rubber mat might be better. The overhead shower is good, but the hand shower part is defective.
There is a bedside lamp on each side in the front bedroom, but the plug to the lamp nearest the door doesn't reach the socket on the opposite side of the bed, so it doesn't really work. All it needs is an extension cord.Fantastic apartment in a beautiful city – Elspeth from United Kingdom – May 20, 2025 (9/10)
Lovely spacious apartment, spotlessly clean. Good air conditioning. Great location, very central, only 5 minutes walk to the main square, tram stop a couple of minutes walk.
Large balcony at the front with fantastic views of the city and hills in the background, good for watching the sunset.

Beautifully decorated apartment with everything you needed. Comfortable beds, warm (very cold when we were there) and stunning view over the city from the outside seating area. Great location with the main square a 5 minute walk. Shops/coffee shops and trams on the doorstep.
Communication with Loft Affair very good, easy instructions to access property and located no problem.
What could be improved: NothingAmazing stay and this huge, stylish penthouse suite. Would 100% recommend. – Rachel from United Kingdom – March 25, 2025 (9/10)
Great location. Amazing views. Huge space. Spotlessly clean. Stylish decor. Comfy beds. Great communication with queries.
What could be improved: Difficult to get in the first 2 doors to access the building. Then we worked out that you just push the doors hard and they open! No code required.
Sofa was not that comfortable.
A snack and milk in the fridge on arrival would have been nice. There was water and little fudge sweets.Everything was perfect thank you – Siobhan from United Kingdom – February 15, 2025 (10/10)
