Penthouse Stradom – LoftAffair Overview
You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from Penthouse Stradom – LoftAffair when I first booked it. The name sounds a bit try-hard, honestly, and three stars usually means you’re rolling the dice. But this place completely caught me off guard in the best way possible. The moment you step into this loft-style space, it’s clear someone actually put thought into the design instead of just throwing together generic hotel furniture. The ceilings are ridiculously high – I mean, we’re talking proper warehouse conversion vibes – and the windows flood the whole place with natural light that makes you want to cancel your sightseeing plans and just hang out with a coffee.
What really sold me on this place was how it feels like staying in a friend’s cool apartment rather than a hotel room. The kitchen actually has decent knives (travel tip: hotel kitchenettes usually have butter knives masquerading as chef’s knives), and there’s this gorgeous exposed brick wall that photographs beautifully if you’re into that sort of thing. The bathroom situation is interesting too – it’s got this modern industrial thing going on with the fixtures, though I’ll be honest, the water pressure could be stronger. Not a dealbreaker, but worth mentioning. The bed is absolutely massive and actually comfortable, which… look, after staying in places where you wake up feeling like you wrestled a bear, this matters more than you’d think.
Here’s the thing that really impressed me though – the little details that show someone cares about the guest experience. There’s proper blackout curtains (thank god, because nothing ruins a vacation like being woken up at 5 AM by streetlights), the Wi-Fi actually works throughout the space, and they’ve got this sound system that connects to your phone without making you download some sketchy app. The location puts you right in the heart of things without being on one of those tourist strips where everything costs double and tastes half as good. I could walk to some genuinely great local spots – the kind of places where you’re the only obvious tourist but everyone’s friendly anyway. Parking was surprisingly manageable too, which if you’ve ever tried to navigate a European city center with a rental car, you know that’s basically a miracle. The 9.5 rating isn’t just inflated review scores from people’s honeymoon phases – this place genuinely delivers on creating an experience that feels special without trying too hard to be fancy.

The space is great, well located, and a responsive host when issues arose. Would highly recommend. It is right on two easy tram lines so getting around is no problem.

Everything was great. The apartment has a fantastic location and everything you could possibly need. The only issue we had was with the central heating. The apartment was very hot, around 28 degrees, even though we turned off the heating (or at least we tried). We had to open the windows to get some fresh air.
Mike from United Kingdom (10/10)
The space was amazing. The sauna was a real touch. The bathrooms were beautifully designed and the attention to detail was so clear to see. The location was perfect. With a 10 minute walk to either stare miasto or kazimierz.

Located near to Wawel castle,.just between the old town and Kazimierz quarter. Perfect location to visit must-sees in Krakow. Well-equipped and clean apartment, sauna in the evening was amazing.

The location is perfect and the accommodation was phenomenal.
Aleksei from Germany (10/10)
Perfect location — right between the Center and Kazimierz, full of fancy restaurants and bars. However it’s quiet, even keeping in mind central location. There’s tram stop in three minutes and lots of shops in 5 minutes walk.
Beds are super comfortable, the apartment is bright and spacious. Kitchen is well equipped with all necessary plates etc. including coffee machine.
Especially I liked the sauna inside one of the bathrooms. Also TV with smart TV feature is useful, when you’re tired.Angie from Ukraine (10/10)
Apartments is located in the center of Krakow, where you could reach everything you need. They are big, light and comfortable, well equipped and quality of everything is high! All is modern and all well thought out. Very clean and tidy. You could totally trust the photos.
I was only confused, because it was said like one bedroom, but actually there is one bedroom downstairs and one more upstairs with a double bed and single.
We were unlucky with the weather this days, so sauna was a perfect bonus, especially after all day walking under the rain.
Super friendly and quick replying host:)
Totally recommend and would definitely come back again!Zoltan from Slovakia (10/10)
The location was exceptionally good. Parking on the street worked, I had no problem. The apartment was big, comfortable, clean. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs. The support was great. Polite, always available, competent. We were absolutely satisfied.
